Brad scoffs at Margot's review,
And takes her advice as a challenge, and tries his hand in horror, taking inspiration from the grim news of Karl from the news and sincerely taking Margot's, albeit nit picky criticism to create... His latest creation...
Killer kritik
This story stars Hellen Opra as Julian, a female technical software engineer in an office who's minus one arm from an accident prior. The story starts when Julian decides to work night shift on a fix for some spaghetti code.
Little does she know, she will be hunted down by a killer in the night, simply known as the critic, due to the killer leaving bad reviews of people's deaths after they of course kill them...
It starts as a one sided slasher battle with Julian as the critic takes control of everything, as the movie goes on, the killer takes advantage of Julian's one arm predicament, scrutinizing her for her imperfections, and will never be spared for not matching to the critic's standards...
Eventually Julian gets an epiphany, and applies her programming skills and critical thinking with an attention to detail to thwart the killer.
She notices that the killer's attempts to achieve perfection has caused them to be predictable, despite the killer's attempt to innovate and subvert every single trope.
As audiences follow Julian's psychological battle Vs the critic, they are left guessing what she might do...
Thanks to Brad's strongest understanding of the tropes in today's horror, he goes with an outcome that no one would ever think of...
In current media, all horror writers have attempted to be subversive and innovative, avoiding a trope, and this trope has not been used for so long that when Brad brought it up, it sincerely surprised audiences, and the killer...
Julian went for a tactic that even the killer would not think of, they were so caught up avoiding tropes, that the second Julian used a cliche, it caught them off guard, turning the whole act of being subversive into a cliche in it of itself, then subverting it's own subversion... Classic Gunhut special... Julian went for the most obvious yet efficient method to defeat a killer...
She called the police on them.... And hid and stalled for them to come, before doing the final confrontation, baiting the killer into a chase scene, which led Julian to a near death, only for the police to last second save her...
In the final scenes of the movie, the critic asks how Julian did it, she simple said the one thing...
"in order to be perfect, you must learn to work with your imperfections, not move away from them... "
The movie was not as much as a hit to casuals and some fans of Brad's action science fiction style, but those who personally relate to Julian found the movie with a strong message.
Brad himself is simply proud of the movie, he eventually toots on tooter to Marget that he'll be happy to hear why he got a below 60% on Killer Kirtik
