Ultimate Goal as a Creator?

Ultimate goal?
I guess to create something I wouldn't be ashamed to show my kids or family,
I don't really know =P
I started my comics and drawing mostly to learn how to draw and make stories (also to not kill off my creativity in engineering) it's just a whim really
I just want to make something good to me and maybe make 1 or 2 dollars out of the experience.

My ultimate goal, I guess I want people to read my comic and when it is finally over, for them to just lean back and think "That was a really enjoyable comic". I want the readers to really understand, relate, and like the characters I made. I want to be a much better artist by the end of this, and hopefully much faster. And it'd be really cool if this hobby found a way to pay for itself.

Originally I wanted to meet a lot of other cool artists and creators, and I've already done that through here, so I've already got one goal checked off ^_^

it ain't silly I think, I'm lucky and was blessed with parents with such open minds that their brains sometime fall out of their heads and roll on the floor

from my family only 2 people have a link to my comic since I feel very shy and embarrassed to show the rest of them.

Yeah, it's often the case whenever I have a tough time at work or something, drawing stuff out is the only way to let off steam and relax. Are you often busy with other things that gets in the way of art?

I want my webcomic turned into a game too, one where four players can join either online or lan and have four classes to choose and the goal is to hunt down large monsters, raid randomly generated dungeons and battle other players in a large open map. Also merchandise, I'd love to have plushies of my characters.

I know that feeling. One minute you're working on your art for a deadline, then your mind drifts a little and now you're watching youtube videos well into the night.

My biggest goal would probably just to get the stories in my head out and into some physical tangible form, be it self published, physical, however. Most of all I want the to be complete as opposed to a mash of fragmented ideas so I guess just bringing each story full circle from beginning to end.

Any bonus would include having something become an animation or a game, especially the latter as one of the stories I've had stewing for a while (i think) would work well as such a thing. It'd definitely be exciting to have one of those fan encounters you see people talk about at conventions, cosplaying a character or just as someone who's enthusiastic about it.

I'd definitely like to have the chance to say I've inspired someone. I've always grown up on stories where the characters were able to not only entertain but motivate even if it were in something like an extravagant/fanciful fantasy story. That and just putting a smile on people faces, the world is a messy enough place as it is so to cast a bit of light to shun the clouds would be nice.

My biggest goal would be to see my comic turned into a cartoon series (and work in it, of course), but actually it will be a miracle if I will end the comic book. I've never finished a single comic book I started
Probably better focus on this big goal before the bigger one.

I would love to be able to have my stories in some form of a physical form, and put them on a shelf. So's that, when I'm old, I can look at that shelf and say, "I created something tangible." I'm hoping that that shelf will be pretty full by the time I'm grey.
If those stories have fans, a fandom, or I get to know that other people have enjoyed them, then darn it, that'd be great!

My present goal is just to grow my audience. But my ultimate fantasy goal is to have several books made that are a a collection of my comic strips that would be collectibles like 'Calvin & Hobbes' comic books. That is what I am chasing.

My goal as a creator to create content that myself and others would want to read.Its to also make a career ,make a business from said comic and to help others along the way.For example if I can help a new artist along the way then excellent.

My ultimate goal as a write is to have the lives of my muses be known-their struggles, their stories, everything because I've lived a pretty rough life, but without them I wouldn't be here if it weren't for them. I want to perfect and give them a place to forever live on as their own people.

In a sense, I want to give them a more solid home to live in and always be remembered within books whether to inspire, motivate, or enjoy. I want their lives to be solidified and..yeah..

So I always strive to perfect my writing and art skills for them to be alive for themselves and for others. I just..need to keep on going, just for them~

My material is almost always released with a Creative Commons license. I just want to provide the public with some useful raw material which may be used for free and passed along. Everyone is a tiny bit richer and better equipped for it.

The video game dream is not all that impractical. Every year, there are annual creator competitions for video games. Small teams each create their own playable video game within a specified amount of time. Roles in these teams are not limited to coders (although it does help a lot if everyone on the team can help with programming). Other roles may include visual art, music composition, and yes writing. None of the specific names of these contests are things which I am able to yank out of my memory, but some excellent small indy games have resulted. You could always join one of these teams and offer your own material as core subject matter.
