i am about ready to chuck both of these things off a cliff, i'm a little frustrated xc

anyway, symptoms:
- basically, the pressure in Clip Studio conks out very randomly. Rebooting will seem to fix it, and then I'll come back to it minutes later only to have it not working again.
- had this problem mildly when i first got my Ugee 2150 (December 2015, bought new, so it's certainly not old equipment), then had a month or so of smooth sailing, and now the pressure problems are back and seemingly much more unfixable
- unplugging the USB and putting it back in doesn't do anything
- recalibrating doesn't do anything
- BTW, other programs seem to have pressure?? but i really need it for Cliiiip :c
- i admittedly have not tried any Driver reinstalling stuff since it's not something i know how to do off the top of my head, commence laziness, but i'm also not convinced that this is entirely the Ugee's problem since other programs have pressure
- additionally, i think this problem started when i rebooted my computer after a long stretch of not rebooting it. aaand stuff like this is why i'm hesitant to reboot often XP

other weird non-Clip stuff:
- i just opened SAI out of curiosity & my pen is totally dead when i try to do anything with it. if i go back to clip (via mouse), the pen works, but still no pressure. i used to be able to use SAI, albeit with some lag, but now it doesn't work at all.
-photoshop definitely still has pressure, like i noticed before
-flash also definitely still has pressure

i really feel like this must be a Clip problem (though the SAI problem is baffling me), would reinstalling that help?
thanks in advance for any feedback!! ; ;

I would really recommend to update your drivers since Clipstudio is known to have driver issues with most people. Plus Clipstudio is in need of an update which smith micro hasn't provided yet for users so that is also an issue but again I would just check your drivers. If you have a Wacom tablet the Wacom website should walk you through on what's the latest driver for your tablet.

I don't know about Ugee, but I've never had any problems with CSP (at least with the newest update) - actually when Photoshop was moaning and dying, CSP kept going just fine. So I recommend:

  1. check if you have the latest version of CSP
  2. uninstall the tablet driver
  3. reboot
  4. install the driver again
  5. reboot again

Unless there's some particular problem, this should solve it. And don't be afraid of learning how to uninstall and install the driver - you're gonna need it a lot in the future, I assure you smiley

How are you liking your UGEE tablet? I'm planning on getting one! But, to answer your question, I really believe it's the drivers. Reinstalling would definitely help. I've been researching about UGEE like crazy so that's why I suggest it as such haha

That's great to hear c: I can't wait for one. I find Cintiqs too be overly expensive and I'm just a hobbyist so, the UGEE looks like a great machine. (Just waiting for it to come though D;). Hope you get it fixed!
