So I've been putting together some stuff for a new novel I intend to work on soon for Tapas and some other sites-- since my "main novel" is something I'm trying to get traditionally published and likely won't make an appearance here (unless I give up on publishing. We'll see how my meeting with a professional editor in a week and a half and if that crushes my confidence or not).
Being mostly an artist I tend to sort out characters best via drawings, so I wanted to share some concept and personality mapping I've done recently of the crew!

Do you guys have any upcoming projects-- or parts of projects-- you'd like to share/talk about also? Without spoiling, of course!

I hope to be making a comic with an artist soon if all goes well, so that's cool. I've made sketches of the male and female leads so far. I also have yet another book in the "Damsel in the Red Dress" series which I have to start plotting out once I'm done with the one I'm serializing ATM (there's like three or four chapters left in the second book)

this was my first attempt at drawing the ML. fortunately I would not be illustrating the comic, just sketching designs for the artist to give a gist of the design ideas

In the scripting phase of AngHell Dela Blackpill (season 3... far ahead from whats in comic form)...

Without revealing too much plot details, it's gonna be intense, and trippy. It will discuss a possible way the end of the world will come about.

I was writing a web novel, but that is currently on pause, I’m currently working on finishing the first wedding arc. 3/9 published but I already started working on what comes after that.

The following arcs should tell the story on how Rose and Nives started dating and what happened to Corrine during the week following her wedding. I also planned the later introduction of a new character to spice things up.

I often do exploratory sketches while I write, to help nail down details of the story. They are not sketches of specific events but the distilled idea of what I want to achieve. I already posted these in another threads but that is not going to stop me from posting them again.

The sketche I did for a joke also fit in this.

Arobase with a more civilian style clothing.

Corrine has question about an accessory that came with a loaned outfit

Nives' little brother is happy to see his big sister.

Alex with his great x5 grandmother.

I have all of my comic’s dialogue fleshed out, but I’ve only made sketches to go along with the dialogue up to page 91. I recently reread all the dialogue and it made me want to make more sketches. Sharing them of course would be spoilers though. You know, the ending of my comic is kinda sad. I don’t cry when I read stuff, but I feel like if I did I would be in tears while sketching the final pages

I have a few in progress.

One is a graphic novel of my Jazz Age Werewolf story. Another one will follow events from different points in time in my protagonists' lives, but I can't decide whether or not to show them in chronological order.

I'm also planning one about my group of 5 teenage girls from different eras trying to adjust to modern-day life.

Best of luck with your meeting!

Got a few as well.

Gotta finish up the "Intern" story arc in Friar Chicken, before I can get to the fun/actiony stuff. Another rooster will soon appear and a lot of fighting will commence.

There's still The Last Train to Gnashville that I really need to finish. I plan to finish it before this year ends, hopefully before fall. It's gonna get a bit sad before I reach the ending.
There's also a fantasy action illustrated novel that I wanna release at some point, also starring birbs, lol, and fire, lots and lots of fire.

Trying to also work on a furry/anthro murder mystery maybe thriller comic utilizing more 3d bgs and assets and upgraded style, initially for the Webtoons contest but as of now I'm starting to run out of steam and focus. Might not actually go into the contest come March, but I wanna finish it at my own pace. Maybe this year?

I'm also a bit cranky rn cause I went to bed and woke up an hour ago with another flipping story idea. A novel, another murder mystery involving a psychic detective who reads the past by touching blood. Also based in a society that assigns personalities to blood types (which is somewhat true in most Asian countries, which is neat) in the aftermath of a biological war. People are assigned jobs/careers/treated by their blood type as well as whether or not they've been infected by the previous war. "Zeros" are the Type O bloodtype, and are a threat to the powers that be. There's also a secret blood classification for psychic/super-powered people, like the MC, and she runs around solving cases with her newly-assigned, Type B, bad-mouthed, American partner.

Not sure I'll go forward with this last one, got too many projects rn, but I jotted all I could down in the last hour so I can go back to sleep XD

I know that feeling of “I don’t need another story idea I need to finish my other ones- WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO ME, BRAIN?” :weary: I know it real well…

In the short term I’ve got the rest of Defining Daecon fleshed out. I won’t give spoilers, but some big changes are coming to Shapeshifter society.

In the long term I’ve got an idea for an AU story with all the same characters but set about 80 years in the future, and the characters are cyborgs instead of shapeshifters. It will be an action/thriller/mystery story

I love pirate stories! Your art style is very pretty but ooff I would love to read a pirate story! You seem to have a cool world fleshed out <3 Best wishes with your project

I like all the little notes you wrote on your characters sheet. And the designs are so cute! I would definitely read a story about these characters. I can tell you put a lot of thought into the side/supporting characters too.

As for me, there is a story I've been thinking about making for the last four years. It'll be a long time before I publish it on Tapas or wherever I decide to publish it, and I won't go into details since I want the plot summary to be a surprise when I release it. Over time I did make a few concept arts here and there. I've never posted them because I know some of my readers are probably going to read this and will ruin the current story for them since it'll make them want the new story instead. :sob:

But here's a small, teeny tiny sneak peek to it I suppose.

Summary

Idk if I’m even gonna do this but here is a cover of a comic idea I may give a go waaaaay later on

The concept looks very well made, and I'm interested to read it! Best of luck with your project!:tada:

I'm pretty excited about my upcoming project too! Not sure if I should spoil much, but this is how much I can show you!

14 days later

Prior to Shirley Woo on the Loose, I'm working on my upcoming project, Glorified Century.

It is about Gloria Glorified, a lively and energetic girl, and her friends Delani Festa, Trinity Wystan, and other residents of Glorified Century, as they explore a vibrant world filled with fascinating cultural events.

Updates will be posted every Wednesday.

I'm going to do a three chapter long flashback explaining the backstory and motivations of the guy that attacked Emerald.
