Novel: The Celestion-5 is set to be humanity's first manned ship to Neptune. For such an important journey, you'd think some care would be put into choosing the crew, but no! It was mostly random selection. Half of the crew are rookies fresh out of high school, and the other half are still absurdly young. This group of assorted goofballs will have to band together to survive the journey to Neptune and back. Updates daily at 9:00AM PST!
Newest Chapter: Mia comes into contact with pure, unadulterated nature. But how much is too much of a good thing?
Sample:
âThatâs pretty neat! Not many people get excited about pine cones!â She tried so hard to make Mia sound interesting. It might not be true, but she appreciated the effort. âWhat other things do you notice with your Lunarian eyes?â
âItâs not something I can see, but,â the freckled girl took a deep breath, âthe air here is really thick.â
â...Thick?â
âIs it because of all the trees?â She scratched her hand again. Did that spider bite her?
âWhat do you mean thick?â
âHeavy. If Lunarian air is like water, this would be a milkshake. A little harder to get through the straw, but way more delicious.â A black bird with a red belly darted through the air, catching her attention. âIs that a pigeon?â The taller girl found herself tearing up again, but didnât know why.
âNo.â Roxie corrected. âBut I think we have more pressing matters to attend to here. Are you struggling to breathe?â
âI wouldnât say itâs enough to be a struggle, but it is harder than usual.â A creeping suspicion told Mia that air shouldnât be thick.
âMia, you forgot my safety tiââ Roxie abruptly stopped, blinking. âHave you seen your hands lately?â
âNo, why?â
This isn't included in the chapter, but I thought it'd be funny to draw out.
