Reading the first few episodes, it was a bit boring. Like some of the jokes were kinda reliant on the reader having that opinion on the subject (like hating fifa, hating reality tv etc.) and it's a bit like a reference joke which are a bit weak. The ones I found funnier were the ex wife one and the crazy guy cat shaving one, more unexpected and out of the box. Also the communist grandma was quite funny. But a lot of the jokes had weak punchlines. Art is quite cute and pleasant, I'm very interested in whose fingerprint it is and whether it's all the same person's fingerprint, and whether this could put that person's identity security in danger.

After a while I got bored at around episode 25 so I skipped to last few eps. IMO the art got more confident but the jokes and content deteriorated a lot. I know its supposed to be funny because of the dumb one/straight man/pinky and the brain character dynamics but you dont execute in a way that's unique or at least entertaining. Like for me, its interesting when a known trope (in this case straight man/dumb guy) is put into different context/premise but this one, which is just 'roommates', isn't very unique. Ep 63 demonstrates this really well: in that strip I could probably replace your characters with some random anime cold glasses guy/bubbly blonde guy duo and it wouldn't feel out of place. This means that your strip is literally a caricature of the trope you're using: it really really lacks an interesting premise, either that or like...just funnier jokes lol

IDK how you can improve it tbh, I would've suggested changing it to the context that they are actual fingers on hands and think they are "roommates" , with the room being the hand, and like the straight man gag man dynamic remaining but the fingers are put in situations that's like a person's hand going through daily life but from the perspective of the dumb finger and intellectual finger. But like you're into this almost 100 episodes deep so highly unlikely that you'll overhaul it like that. So in conclusion, I didn't enjoy reading it but it looks like you have a decent number of subs who do so good on you. Just try to make it more interesting I guess.

This comic is so adorable! Cute art and the general entire impression this comic gave me was a cute, very charming and authentic vibe. Sometimes I don't really get it because I'm not italian and I don't play baseball, but for some reason it still makes me lol and didn't put me off reading it because it was so fun and I could feel the fun-ness without having to understand it. My favorite episodes were ep 4, and OMG EP 32 WAS AMAZINGLY FUNNY I LOVED IT, and also ep 49 and ep 50. For some reason I preferred the shorter black and white formats to the more recent colored ones but the colored ones content wise were still on par with the first few, which is admirable because I would've expected you to run out of material by then haha. It's also pretty interesting to learn about baseball in an entertaining way through this comic! I really really liked this comic, and the fact that this was based off your own experiences with baseball made it so much better. Keep it up, you have a really cute and individual comedic style.

The art is unpleasant and slightly ugly: has bad anatomy, squashed faces, stiff poses etc. and the backgrounds, texturing, fx and overall feel seems too amateurish.
Can't say much about the plot cuz it's in early stages but seems to have potential I guess. I imagined it in my head with better art and it worked so that means the writing and pacing is ok. If you plan on improving your art before continuing I recommend going in the wednesday7 artstyle direction (somewhere along those lines where the faces are kinda sharp and a bit realistic but also graphic-y) not the current one you have which is like the blobby nose art style. Do a wednesday7 style but soften the edges a little, I think that would work for your story.
Hope you can take this story in an interesting direction. Currently I like Ramona and the uncle seems cool too, but currently the art is slightly too incoherent for the average reader to take to it.

This was quite short. I think this has potential, interesting modern remake of Alice in Wonderland, and the character is quite likeable. Atmosphere is good, surreal and not exactly dark but like a bit strange and suspenseful. The art style isn't really my thing, it has that children's book flatness to it but I could see it working out for this story and I could see myself getting used to it as the book goes along. I like it so far but it depends on where you take it from here. Hope that it's a bit trippy.

Well, despite I'm not a big fan of the brutally honest reviews (because most of the time people are doing just it for the sake of destroying a story), looks like you can see the bad and the good things at the same time, which is highly appreciated.

sorry man, this isn't like a personal attack or anything, but it's just what i honestly thought while reading the comic, and i can't control my thoughts, right? i'm sure you'll improve vastly in the future and become famous and bash on me when making your success story speech in the future, but for now, the review:

Sorry, but the art is so ugly that "oh my god this is so ugly" was the only thing I could think the entire time I was reading it. The font's also ugly, literally not a single non-ugly font in the entire comic. The art looks like it's by a 12 year old who just learned how to draw manga using a Manga 101 guidebook. It's even worse because this juvenile art style is used to handle such serious subject matter. Also what the heck was the song lyrics on page one please take it out it was so uncalled for and full of cringe in what was supposed to be an intense emotional moment. I skipped the walls of text because it was boring and walltexting in a webcomic is terrible, don't do it, no one's gonna read that shit until they're actually invested enough in your comic to put in effort to find out more about it through reading.

Also, the more I read it the more it feels like christian propaganda. I don't like reading propaganda. I don't really empathise with the main character, he seems like the wallow in self pity, im better than you kind of loner guy, very overused and not even likeable in the first place. The writing is cringy and feels immature. All of the characters excluding the MC are reduced to stereotypes to prove the moral of the story. I don't like that, i'm not trying to attend civics moral education class, im trying to entertain myself by reading a comic. If you want to convey a message or moral to the reader and make them actually believe in it, use the story to sneak it past them. If the reader can obviously tell that you're just trying to educate them, it's not a pleasant feeling and is the ultimate turn off. Isn't that the reason why you're writing a story with that message, and not just telling the message outright?

(also the stereotypes in this comic are super outdated lol. why tf is the nerd stereotype wearing a bowtie does literally any nerd still wear bowties anymore)

ya sorry this entire comic was really shitty and only entertaining because it was so bad
the premise is okay, very overdone, but okay. If you wanna continue it try to improve your writing and art by like a lot.

art can really improve, it's currently only marginally readable and you really need to have good perspective skills and art quality for this sort of mystery thriller kinda comic. I guess it didn't have your intended effect because I found myself spacing out while reading it and I caught nothing so I'm gonna go back and read it again. Also you should get an editor for the english, currently the grammar errors affect the flow.

Ok I read it properly now (with a bit of difficulty). I feel like the tone is appropriate for a mystery comic but like it just wasn't a very good mystery story. I get that it's supposed to be like a black butler kind of supernatural mystery thriller so the clues don't have to be so scientific or in depth, but at least a bit of foreshadowing or a few hints here and there would be nice. In your comic it's just 'plot twist she's a demon which explains everything', so it's very underwhelming. It's feels like you're covering up the lack of a detailed planned storyline using the mystery-thriller tone so like it feels like a mystery comic but substance-wise it's actually not very mystery-ish. The experience I got from reading your comic was this: it was as if someone just instructed me to imagine I was flipping through a mystery comic book, so I imagined it vaguely in my head. Your comic feels like reading a blurry imaginary mystery comic book, if you get what I'm tryna say. So just try to make it more concrete with more detail in the flow of events. Good luck c:

Aww I like this comic! It's simple and there isn't much happening but that's part of its charm, just a collection of interesting snippets from your daily life, I like it! I can tell from reading it that you have a likeable and pleasant personality, so reading about day to day life from your perspective was pretty enjoyable. It wasn't verrryyyy interesting but it was still quite nice to read and sometimes pretty relatable. The art is super appealing too, it feels very confident and comfortable with itself. The entire comic gives me the impression of just being a comfortable, relaxing read. It's good c:

Hey there! You're awsome doing such reviews for creators! I'm allways scared that people when they give me reviews are afraid of thelling me their honest oppinion! I'd really apprechiate if you could look over my comic as well (Beyond Sight). I'm not too far into the story (just 13 pages) so it wouldn't take ages to read, but because it is my first comic i have the constant fear of making huge mistakes, disappointing readers etc...
