What i mean is, look at this picture.
if i showed you the picture for 2 seconds and asked you to describe what's happening in this picture, you can easily tell me that it's a picture of a blond guy sitting on a chair.
now, i show you this picture for 2 seconds and ask you to describe what's happening in the picture:
you'd probably say, "wait, you only showed it to me for 2 seconds, there's so much happening in that picture so i can't possibly describe it to you!"
that was how i felt when reading your comic, since when we read comics we usually only read and process each panel in a very short amount of time, i felt like in your comic every panel was the second picture. it doesn't mean that there can only be one thing in the panel and the rest is empty space, you just need to clearly visually define what's important and what's not.
By outline I mean do what you did for that one episode where there was color and a thick black outline. i couldn't even tell what the story was from the art so mostly the art.
