Are we judging the time between updates as well, or just update day? Update day, I'll usually pick up between 1 to 5 on WEBTOON, and usually 0 to 2 on Tapas.

But over the two-week window between updates, I can get anywhere between 10 to 20 on WEBTOON if I'm promoting regularly on social media. Tapas just seems to have subs trickle in at random, I'll get maybe 5 to 10 over two weeks.

I actually uploaded on an 'off day' this week (yesterday) because I was just tossing up a Q and A, and that got me more 'update day' subs than I've seen in ages. Around 9. Probably because the people who check WEBTOON on that day had never seen my comic in the 'newest' list before.

For my Systemless book, it usually doesn't get any subscribers, and it updates daily right now so that's an average of probably 0.2 or something.

For Hands Held in the Snow, however, anytime I post a bonus chapter, there's be 10+ subscribers just in the first day. I should probably post a couple more soon lol

For me, it really depends on which series has updated. My best performing comic may get 2 - 5 on update day, and my worst performing comic will get 0 on an update day.

It saddens me having more subs and views on Webtoons, when i can share half of my stuff on webtoons due the censorship. It's clearly more popular, maybe i need to do something more PC and family friendly lol

Some weeks are a 5-10 on Tapas, but most are a 1-5. Under the old algorithm (before spring last year) it was consistently 5-10, even with several hundred fewer readers and less than half as many likes per page, which is why I'm always banging on about the poor visibility for free to read comics under the new system. Usually if I get more than that it's because I've had a signal boost, taken part in some kind of promo project etc.
Fingers crossed these "big exciting changes" the staff have been talking about help make things better.

On webtoon, I count myself lucky if I get 1-5, but I don't really track things much there. Tapas is my primary platform.

On Webtoon, I usually get from 1 to 5 new subscribers with each new update, with 2-3 being the average.

On Tapas... I'm lucky if I get 1-2 new readers a month :'D not even sure how people find my series on here, since they mostly seem to come when it's not update day, so I'm guessing they're either coming from ComicAd or social media rather than Tapas search.

Tapas has been weird these days for me tho.

Webtoon has been consistently bad (for webtoon standards with their big audience), but Tapas was so good until it turned bad.

On Tapas, subscribers randomly come whenever they feel like it (or when I show my work to people on the forum), so there's so way for me to keep track of numbers, really. I haven't gained many subs during my two months of publishing (21), but I hardly promote myself on social media or elsewhere so I don't expect anything else.

I don't have a Webtoon account yet, but I plan to make one for myself soon.
