As time pass, you will know who is most likely to response to you and maybe can form a partnership with him/her
Please comment below your pros and cons, which position do you prefer? (inking, pencil drawing, coloring, writing story,....). What can you offer? What do you need?
I have a Discord account, so we can talk more easily: discord.gg/Z2vPMTZ (my invite link) https://discordapp.com/invite/Z2vPMTZ(Feel free to post your link too)
About myself: I'm good at lining, I can do coloring and drawing too if needed, bad at drawing background and non-anime characters (especially animals) My offer: I can help you line and ink your sketch, create a simple (and badly draw) story board for your novel. Also I like to draw fighting scenes so I can help people who struggle to make oneI want to find: Partners who can color or design cute characters or pencil draw story board very fast or have a good story (fantasy adventure or science fiction)
I will post art below for some examples:
For example, you have a drawing (traditional or digital)
I can help you line it (This is what I prefer, lining, lining, lining)
Then color it (If I have to)
If you have a series of sketches (with good story) I can help you "digitalize" it
I like to draw fighting scenes, focus on physic effects such as force or momentum, I think I can help you with action related problem
Please post your profile along with examples, more people will form more groups, a better future await
You lined my lineart.... that's funny.
Here's an actual sketch if you wanna test your line art skills...
I actually turned it into vectors (not just lined), it's my habit for easy coloring And is this your story board about some manga? What's the story?
A group of rebels just fought a battle in order to betray their longtime friend and leader of the organization. This page starts at the aftermath of the battle.
Does this have intense fighting in it?
I just wanted you to try line arting this single page.
It's too simple, can you post something more like this?
Oh! I could try and line it, if you'd like
That's too complicated. I thought doing detail work was your job?
I tried to mimic your style as best as I could XD
Honestly, if people have very rouch sketches, send them my way.
That's pretty good hahaha!!
Wait, if people usually call this a "sketch"
Then what should I call mine? (it's quite different from your sketch)(I'm not from US so I don't know about term like "lineart", "sketch", .....)Can you help me differentiate each category?
Sketches are usually just preliminary drawings, similar to a "draft" - they're usually loose and have a raw unfinished quality to them. Different artists work to varrying degrees of sketchyness - my thumbnails for comic pages to be a bit looser than @Kimoisempai s sketch that they posted, but depending on the scene they may be more detailed as well.
So I can call mine a "sketch" too?
