It's been a while since I worked on my series, so I wanted to get some feed back about the art style... I tried editing it to fit my more refined art style, but I'm worried I might have to re draw the entire first 6 chapters because chapter 7 seems a bit too different (at least to me.)

It'll take me a little while but I can take a look at them!

So I went over the two different versions of the first chapter. And while I think you have definitely improved your work on a technical level, I feel some of the added details remove some of the charm your older work had. I think you should keep in mind "less is more" for your work. Just because you can add a lot more detail, doesn't mean you should.

So overall you have improved on a technical level, but the sweet charm of the simple cartoon style gets lost with too much added detail.

By 'less is more', does that mean i shouldn't make as many backgrounds? I think that's the biggest difference between the two versions of the 1st episode.

I see you've developed the characters a bit more in the second one, but there isn't as much difference between the two as I thought there would be. I'm against redraws generally, better to continue with your improvements or to make a new and better thing. In this case the differences seem so minor most of the time that it doesn't seem worthwhile to do it instead of continuing the original.

The comic you have is fun, fast-paced, and very enjoyable. I agree with @KevinReijnders that in this case, more detailed backgrounds aren't that helpful - it doesn't make the gags funnier, and since the comedy/lighthearted romance is the main draw it doesn't add that much. The slight suggestion of a background is more than enough!

The one thing I'd like to see in this art style is less reliance on standard chibi/anime expressions and more unique facial expressions. Apart from that, everything seems to be just right for the kind of story you're trying to tell.
