Webtoons BROKEN?

Got some great advice on here from this community--one in particular was updating my comic on BOTH Tapas and Webtoons. So I've tried to create a Webtoons account this week...

I cannot for the life of me create a Webtoons account.
The birthdate page comes up, I type in my birthdate, and--back to the birthdate page. Over and over again.

I've used 3 different browsers, without ad blocker or other add-ons, I've used my phone to try and create an account that way... still nothing.

I've emailed Webtoons. They literally told me to "try another browser without add-ons" but I already did. Not sure what else to do. I sent them a second email the other day clarifying again what I've tried.

Anyone else had the same problem and have solved it? What did you do?
If not solved--SHOULD WE FLOOD THEIR INBOX??

Or is destiny trying to tell me something here...

maybe your internet is slow~? have you tried to erase your cache and cookies~?

Also have you tried downloading app and making an acc there first?
Maybe also try using a VPN.

I thought it was only me because I could not find anyone else having the same problem on the Internet, and I've been trying for half a year!

For me, I made a login with my Google account. I know you can use your facebook account as well. Maybe try doing that because your Google/facebook accounts will already have that birthday info filled out?

I've consistently had problems with Webtoons on like, any browser I can and it's always been fucky in some way or the other. The site is just... built and designed poorly. Whoops, I said it.

Okay, so brilliant plan. I used my Google/Apple account, got to the end of it to make the account annnd "unable to connect to webtoon server" page pops up.
I'm so sad. lol

Webtoons is wacky like that.
I usually don't use the apps, but once I tried both apps, tapas and webtoons, and for the life of me I never could open my account on webtoons. I don't know why. I still use the desktop version, so no problem anyway, but yeah. Webtoons is wacky.

In order to make a Webtoon account, I actually had to put in a much younger year-- it's like it thought I was too old or something! So yeah, I think my birth year on there is in the 90s or something. Once I changed the year, it allowed me to make an account just fine.

So weird! Then it all worked out and brought you to the next page afterwards?
My birth year is 94, so I guess my devices are just dumb. (or it's just literally webtoons LOL)
In their email to me, they said it shouldn't be my birthdate... but ayyyy, you got a different story! xD

Yeah, worked fine once I chose a different year. (I'd tell you which one, but I can't find that info on my account. Oh well!) My money is on it being a Webtoons problem, because it's happened to both of us, and probably more people.

My guess is, as long as the age you put in makes you older than 18 (so it knows if you can access mature content), then it shouldn't matter too much.
