I want to start drawing a new comic in the scroll format of Webtoon but since i never used it before i'd like to ask some questions about it.
The largest page format you can use there is 800px x 1200 px but how many panels can you draw in it to make them readable?
I find hard in reading other creators webtoon to see how they built their pages or how many vertical pages they used for an update, so i'm a bit confused and don't know how to structure it :frowning:
(Because i always drew my comics in traditional pages like manga style) this time i want to design my webtoon as most people do but i might need a tutorial or more informations.

Thank you! But will the panels be readable if i draw many of them on the largest allowed format? This is probably my highest concern XD

You can draw essentially on any canvas and croppy will auto format it for you into the webtoon format- especially if you use the webtoon croppy extension.

Like I know people that work on canvas that is 1000 x 10000. or 2000 x 5000 or whatever they feel like. And you can use different file types including png, tiff, psd and croppy converts all of those. I think the only file it doesn't work on is the medibang files and the Clip studio file.

I personally draw all my panels sep and copy paste them onto a 800x20000, save as a png and then I let croppy do the rest- it will also convert the same file to fit Tapas too. so you don't need to make separate files.
