Warning! excessive 8am coffee typing:
As a studio Science Saru have a good rep already for making quality stuff (The Night is Short and Eizouken for example) which is why I was willing to give Dandadan a chance. The theme song is a real banger as well.
However I've seen a lot of anime in the past decade with a set of very strong opening episodes (that Three Episode Rule seems to be something the industry has decided to plan around) that failed to keep me for the entire ride. It doesn't help that a lot of the new stuff is remarkably the same as the old 80s OVA stuff and I'm a bit past being impressed by underaged "plot"
Dandadan is still too new to know if it'll make me stick it out, but it's what's for dinner right now.
