Just finished watching Golden Time (first half was really good but things went downhill in the second). Not too sure what to watch next, possibly Violet Evergarden or Magi the Labyrinth, who knows.

Well there are a bunch of reasons, the main one being the forced drama. Like all the characters decided to stop talking or lie about what was going on in the last third of the show so they can fit in more episodes. The ending itself also felt very rushed and contrived, especially because amnesia works nothing like how it was portrayed in the show (when you regain the memories you lost, you don't just forget everything that happened between the time). I also thought that Banri had a lot more chemistry with Linda than Kouko, but I'm not surprised the MC got with the poster girl so I can't be too disappointed with that.

hmm sounds like a real downer. well thanks for the heads up, wont see that anime 4sho

Any anime recommendations where the characters aren't constantly screaming and making faces?

Hmm...that's hard. Maybe a more calming sereis. Maybe a shoujo series. Maybe monthly girls nozaki-kun?

I haven't watched much of anything lately but I've been watching old anime from the late 80's early 90's such as Case Closed/Detective Conan, Yu Yu Hakusho, and I'm going through all the Gundam series. I'm at Gundam ZZ right now.

@kingdomfilmsest2016 - i watched that too, yeah it sucks. but the later entries in the series are awesome

@MidoriCrush - nice! what season?

@JRHoch - hmm no screaming in an anime... thats tough  ... maybe any gundam series , focus on the amazing mecha art styles

@dewarcomics - awesome! i love the classics! im still watching detective conan. i think im in episode 900+ something lols
yu yu is a blast! my fav char is toguro!
man im a huge fan of gundam! their detailed mecha art style inspires me

Oh if you like Dr. Stone you've got to check out the manga too - the art is wonderful <3. Also waiting as patiently as I can for more on the anime :persevere:

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War just puts a big smile on my face and the music is great!

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo (I forgot the whole title, but those words show up) - mature, not in a rated way mature, but if you're interested in seeing an old master of an ancient storytelling art narrate his life, loss, and relationship with his art to an ex-convict, wannabe protege.

Erased there is screaming, but I remember only one or two.A disgruntled 28 year old man saddled with time-traveling powers burdened with regret over a murder of an elementary classmate gets thrown back in time to his elementary self, given the chance to set things right.

Fruits Basket an optimistic girl gets involved with a clan whose certain members are cursed to get turned into animals when hugged.
Deconstruction of shoujo tropes.
ReLIFE - a jobless man gets offered a chance to relive high school as part of a program to rehabilitate jobless, out of school people into getting back their vigor.

Arte a female painter in Renaissance Italy trying to make it.

Hyouka Detective Conan but with more mundane cases like solving the meaning of the club name. Also includes stellar cinematography (and tons of analysis from a certain youtuber) from Kyo Ani

I need to finish Haikyuu... im almost done with the 1st season, then I'll move on to finishing 7 Deadly Sins.

Oh, yes. Fruits Basket, I remember watching it as a kid and now we'll see the whole story completed in animation hopefully until next year
