Ok, but legitmately, this season's kinda awful if you're not willing to watch isekais or harem anime, and even worse if you're looking for something that isn't a continuation.. Came at a good time too, I normally try to keep up with a lot of anime but um.. yeah. Not a lot that had me super hooked immediately.
My watchlist currently looks like this. Two of them are ending within the next week and I'm upset about it. *continuously ongoing for 4 years now **leftover from last season
BORUTO*
My Hero Academia (Season 5)**
Fumetsu no Anata e**
Mairimashita, Iruma-kun (Season 2)**
Re-Main
Uramichi Oniisan
That said.. I've heard people saying good things about Vanitas no Carte, Sonny Boy, and Fena: Pirate Princess. I'm honestly too burnt out on anime to watch them atm though lol
Kageki Shoujo has an interesting premise, all girls high school doing theater plays where there's competition in trying to play the male parts? Sign me up, the first two episodes were pretty solid. Awfully inconvenient to be burnt out atm. I will get back into this once I start watching the first few I just mentioned.
Idaten Deities in the Peaceful Generation seems promising if you want a dark fantasy with a vibrant color scheme..? Studio Mappa's working on it, so you know the animation will be great. I don't want anything thematically dark at the moment so that's bit of a pass from me personally lol
Aquatope of White Sand has the potential to be a good drama series, it feels different enough with the plot revolving around trying to keep an aquarium popular enough to keep running. It's chill but like too chill sometimes. Enough to keep me from being too engaged with it if I'm not binging it tbh.
This might actually be the one season where I've dropped more shows than what I've watched.. At least they didn't start strong only to end on a terrible note like Promised Neverland or Wonder Egg Priority??
