inb4 'bold of you to assume my style was inspired by anime/manga'
As for me, bitwam's style was inspired by Girls' Last Tour, and more generally by the more rough and loose style of its author Tsukumizu
Oh your artstyle also reminds me of Made in Abyss! Very cool style! ️
I am quite a fan of Made in Abyss as well
Legend of the northern blade Heresy
I was inspired by Overlord and reincarnated as a slime it drove me to create a fantasy world for myself even though my main characters aren't broken like the ones on the animes mentioned
Tite Kubo's art has been an inspiration of mine since I was in high school (and it was still the biggest anime/manga back then). Just something about his linework and the way he draws hands and faces, and the way his art always has motion...
it's tough to pinpoint specifics anymore but i always go back to the soft round styles of old school anime
and then the stretchy(???) expressive styles from some of the new stuff
ideally it's just stuff with enough range to bounce between relatively serious to comedic so there's balance coz that's essentially how the tone of my comics work (or at least its what i plan for)
It's an odd mix of Ghibli, Satoshi Kon and Suehiro Maruo lol. They're what I looked at when I started drawing comics. I don't think the resemblances are there anymore tho tho
I Love of Drawing anime came from Inuyasha. I think I seriously got obsessed with anime when starting to watch Inuyasha. While FMA led down to appreciate good story telling and investing in amazing character development. I fell in love with Inuyasha and Edward Golden Eyes so much that I even Added that feature into my own character Xepholen from Infinite Strike. Though with my Character his eyes have a deeper meaning why they are that color.
My art is inspired a lot by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. That's the one that really got me into manga and made me wanna start drawing more. I was also inspired a bit by One Piece when I read it, with the goofy expressions and how cartoony everything looked while still feeling three-dimensional and solid. Berserk's incredible shading really made me wanna get more ambitious with my art (and Berserk made me get more ambitious with my story too). Hunter x Hunter wasn't quite as strong of an inspiration as the others, but I think it deserves an honorable mention since I think it added a little flavor to my style that I wouldn't have had otherwise. I keep coming back to each of these series and reading new ones to flesh out my style and the references I draw from
lmao when I was a child I grew up on a lot of CLAMP. Because of that, my anatomy skills were out of whack because I kept drawing all my characters with RIDICULOUSLY long legs that weren't proportionate to the rest of their body. It's a habit I've been desperately trying to unlearn for 10+ years and am still struggling
Back when I did incorporate some manga into my art I looked at a lot of Asamiya(Silent Mobius/Steam Detectives), Sonoda(Gunsmith Cats), Fujishima(You're Under Arrest/Oh My Goddess), and Kishiro(Battle Angel Alita)...
Bleach and the Boondocks
While my comic is more movie inspired, for artstyle not so much from anime/manga (but some manga do influences me a little bit) as I read them and get how they do the manga paneling methods.

I think the biggest influence on my art is One Piece. After a while, I tried to have a slightly more realistic looking style but whenever I look at my art I can not unsee the huge influence One Piece had XD
Anime alone:Dragon Ball Z > Naruto / Bleach > Fairy Tail > BNHA > FLCLOh boy I'm such a normie!
But even though I want my own style to be a mix of both 2000's cartoons and 2010's anime styles, I think my cartoon influence is more predominant, even in my more detailed drawings:
My influences range from Charles Schultz "The Peanuts" over Hergé TinTin,Dean Yeagle to various manga webtoon styles.Asterix, Lucky Luke, Clever & Smart because I grew up with it.I´m also influenced by comic Noir from artists like Jordi Bernet
I have so many. Might have to come back and add to this. Not all technically anime/manga, but shh.
