Oddly enough, the first comic I ever read was Fruits Basket (by Natsuki Takaya) when I was 11. Got into manga for a few years after that. The art was not an inspiration so much as the medium itself. I wasn't great at writing everything out to tell a story, and I really enjoyed drawing. So the possibility of storytelling in this way was such a magical concept to me.

Most of my art and storytelling inspirations don't come from comics, though. (However, having been into Carciphona1 at one point, it made me realize I could make a comic myself. That was particularly impactful.)

Some artists throughout my life that have inspired me:
Amy Brown, Brian Fraud, Alan Lee, John Howe, Yoshitaka Amano, Range Murata, Magdalena Kania (Meago),Wayne Barlowe, Soroush Barazesh (Koteri Ink), Omar Dogan, Rose Besch, Shinkiro (from Capcom), Senri Kita (artist for Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn), and Kaneoya Sachiko. :heart_03:

A lot of things, but to keep it simple, I am going to tell you what my MCs of Psychoborg are an inspiration of.
- Astra is inspired by the five most influential princesses to me (though she herself is not a princess): Disney's Cinderella, Disney's Rapunzel, Sailor Moon, Princess Leia and She-Ra
- Psychoborg is inspired by the five most influential action men to me: Disney's Aladdin, He-Man, Goku from Dragon Ball, Superman and Robocop.

I mirror on Webtoons too:

The inspiration for my story came from the students I work with every day. I feel like I couldn't find a book that students with special needs could relate to, so I decided to make Abilities.

I am a huge Butch Hartman fan and grew up loving the Fairy Odd parents and Danny Phantom, which I think you can see it in my art.

It was such a genuine and soulful story!

Ahaaa, those are great characters ofc. Personally, I'm quite attached to Shigure. I do love a lot of them, but he's remained my fav. xD

Wow that's a lot! Yeah, your character does remind me of Simba! I recommend the film a Quest for Camelot that's a king Arthur film, also the Sword and the Stone is super cool.
