What are some of your New Year Resolutions for 2021?

I would say some of my biggest ones are..

Personal: Maintain a healthier lifestyle. Being Chronically ill, I should be taking better care of myself.

Artistically: Getting better at cel shading, line diversity and overall work speed of my comic. If I can knock a week off of my current speed that'd be a huge stepping stone.

Okay, that was a joke 🤣 I just say that all the time and it's become kind of a meme in my mind and couldn't help myself.

Honestly, 2021 will be a turning point in my life I think... I've got to choose between college or work... I want to have a successful story, and I want to finally finish book 1 and officially publish book 2. Not to mention, I kind of want to move out from my parents' house finally (I'm 21 and damn do I need my space!)

So I guess these things... We'll see how that goes though 🤣

I've got a lot of things I want to try and accomplish this year.

Get back to exercising, talk to people more, spend more time with the family, Cut back on coffee and snacking, get to my 100 sub milestone, but above all, I want to watch Avatar: The last airbender.

I can't say that I might not get to do all of things but Avatar will be number 1 on the list.

I also want to maintain a healthier life style. Chronic illness is TOUGH when you're trying to be healthier. I also want to improve my self-image. I realized recently I still struggle with body-image issues.

Artistically: I want to keep writing more and hopefully improve my readership on my main series.

What steps do you need to take to be healthier? Are they manageable? Best of luck!

My goals this year:

• Expand my brand to TikTok and Pinterest
• Work on building a proper stationary shop with more merchandise
• Work on an apparel / accessory line
• Post a single comic update a week
• Stream art once a week
• Stream speedrunning once a week

All obtainable if I really focus and push myself to start my days earlier!

Solid goals.

As for steps.

Mainly just really staying on top of my dr. appointments and stuff, and not just
riding things out." or giving up when barriers keep popping up. I have a bad habit of just dealing with things rather than seeking medical help because the process of seeking medical care has been such a struggling process that I just have a negative experience with it. But I would like to be more persistent and make those phone calls to make sure people are doing what they need to be doing so I can get proper care.

An example. It took me almost 2 years of back and forth with insurance/doctors to finally be put on an injection I need twice a month to keep my immune system from attacking my body constantly. It was ridiculous.

I wanna do more music seriously (more official than posting into the void anyways) and I wanna finish my comic script once and for all. Tbh that's kinda it! Maybe mental and physical health could be better, but we'll see.. we'll see...

Tapas wise,

-I would like to start posting my new comic next year, probably in the spring time (I feel like I'm very close to a reasonable pipeline I can sustain from here on out).
-Finish writing the new ending for Alchemist Burn Outs, now that I know how I want it to go--get it all uploaded so I can go full burn on the new comic instead.

Work wise is a million other things that are kind of boring, like joining a small business group so I can meet locals who are...likeminded instead of relying so much on online networking (which got just...so dismal this year). Other things that again--super boring and old person so I'll spare you and won't list em.

But fun-goals wise, I want a new car, that needs to happen, my Ford is slowly mummifying out there on my curb, especially this year after I drove it like no times. And also I got a teeny tiny 32-key midi-keyboard for Christmas so I can do fun digital music with it at my computer desk, maybe even compose...I'd like to learn those programs and get into music again. It used to be a fun escape for me but this year with zoom calls happening all day long I couldn't play my full sized analog piano.

Make sure I stay healthy...try to get my arms better so that I can start working on comics again; try to find a balance/schedule so that the RL job doesnt overwhelm and drain all the energy out of me so that I cant work on the comic when I get home.

First I wish all of your dreams and goals come true... personally I'm scared because a new year will mean turning 24 soon ...but it's still fine

I hope to publish more stories here and most of all hope I will be able to follow my gym routine like I've been doing this last few weeks

I want to finally get into shape! I have been out of shape far too long. Also I want to be able to play new video games without feeling petrified of doing something new

overall just survive/get better. i've hit a variety of lows and family has started to notice how i've been doing so for their sake and mine i wanna be more healthy and active even if it's just a half hour walk

art wise i wanna spend more me time drawing. I didn't get to do a lot of personal art since i had to go all in on commissions so granting myself days of or at least a little time within the day to just work on stuff for myself is something i wanna focus on, whether it's comics, personal illustrations or just messy doddles. i deserve that much i think. improvement stuff has just come at it's own pace so i'll just let that flow like always, especially since i already did a bit of exploring drawing backgrounds/environments already

My resolution is just to keep my grades up to keep my scholarship. Nothing too big.

(Probably won't happen this year but any progress to that point is good progress)
To get to a point in my comic-making career where I don't have to work on another job, finally being able to take time for myself and some of the hobbies that I enjoy such as streaming and playing video games. Being able to make a good living from my comics is the dream that will only make my and y reader's experience that much better since then I can focus on my writing %100 of the time. Creating a beautiful world and characters, focusing on increasing the quality of art and all that.

Apart from that, I would love to just work on hobbies. Archery and 2d animation come to mind right away.

Artistic: Complete at least 1 story next year and attempt to produce my first comic.

Professional: Spend at least 2 hours a day working on my programming skills and prepare for my master's
