What are ways of getting paid as an artist outside of my comic?

In the past year, Line Webtoon has stopped paying me for my comic as they bumped up the threshold from 3000 subs/5000 views a day to 1000/40,000 views a day which I think is ridiculous. So at the moment I'm looking for a good way to support myself with my art (mind you I do have a patreon, but it hardly puts a dent into what I need). Also, I am aware that it is near impossible to get enough money to completely support yourself as an artist, but simply put, what I was receiving was a healthy addition to my monthly income.

I suppose the obvious solutions are
Patreon
opening commissions
seeking freelance work
(more difficult but) design things that can be sold to a more general market: shirts, pins, prints, other goods.

Advertise on as many social platforms as you can really and wait for people to come to you.
I know there have been a few people looking to commission artists here on the forums for covers or single illustrations before. So forums can help too.

Did you mean per month? Because I thought it was based on monthly rates.

Anyway! Hubby kept his deviant art running and people would sometimes come to him for stuff. He also started making red bubble and tee public shirt designs. That helps a lot too.
