What are (would be) your supporter rewards?

I worry about not getting accepted on the Support Program on Tapastic.

There are people who didn't get accepted? I thought you just need to reach the minimum subscribers, then prepare the support page and the staff reviews it only to see if there isn't something harmful or suspicious...

I've heard of maybe three people that were not accepted and not given reasons why. I hardly know all the details on it so I rather not be the cause of a huge dissuasion in it. Its just hearing that makes me want to make sure I do it all right, because it means a lot to me to be on the support program. I need to draw up a nice thanks picture and I want to submit after I've had at least a month of updates. Its hard because I'm focusing more on Commissions right now.

Google hangouts! You can Screen Share, Webcam, Voice chat, Text chat, with anyone in there. You don't HAVE to do all those things at once, if you are voice shy or video shy, you are welcome to watch and text chat. I like to Screen share what I'm working on with friends. Its like LiveStreaming, but other people can stream with you. Like there might be three people Screen Sharing what they are drawing and chat with them. ITS A LOT OF FUN!! O w O

There are websites like Picarto.tv and livestream.com where you can more or less give a live video of what your drawing online for people to watch as you do it using a screen capture software. Its not that interactive if you just play music and let the people in the chat area... chat. Sadly I don't know as much about these as I'd like to, I guess you could ask here in the forums since I know a lot of creators have done them (I'm still figuring it out...)

@TristanJensen Aha, thanks for telling me! It looks interesting but really not for me, apart from being shy I have another excuse - my computer definitely wouldn't manage painting and screen capture at the same time!

Honestly? I have no idea. It's going to be REALLY, REALLY long, though! I've just started working on chapter 4 (yes, I am very far ahead of the pages being posted), and I feel like I've barely gotten started! Grassblades will be many hundreds of pages long before I'm done with it, I think. My initial estimate (based on guesswork and glancing at my outline) put me WELL over 1000 pages, but I've managed to cut down the number of pages of each chapter so far, so I have good hopes of making it in under that!

I finally put into practice the idea I talked about with @UzukiCheverie so I'm sharing:

People can "adopt" an animal character from Trivia from Nature - I picked 1-2 characters from each episode and made badges and adoption certificates (if you can call it that) with them! In those 2 days I got a new supporter, so I guess it works!
I'm pretty proud of that idea - who would have thought that watching my guinea pigs graze on grass I grow for them in a giant pot at the balcony would be so inspiring!

The only thing that makes me wonder is if I should make a plant or a rock available for adoption - I already have an episode on cacti and planned more on plans and rocks. I wonder if people would adopt them too if I made them available

I've been thinking about trying out the support program, and trying to decide on the rewards!

I'm not sure if I'd want to do early access to episodes- but I'd like to offer something like access to sketches and behind the scenes stuff like designs and thumbnails etc. The Supporters Only dashboard seems like a good way to share that stuff, and/or I could send out PDFs monthly. Still thinking this stuff over!

My other ideas are sticker sets, postcards, and zines! Maybe a monthly livestream? I've never done one before!
