I also dig the intro too. I'm getting more and more into post-y stuff. So I get that vibe, and some great breakdown goodness.

I mean, same here lol there's two direct inspirations for this one and I think they're pretty on the nose lol Deafheaven for the black metal and post-rock/shoegaze (or blackgaze for genre elitists), and The Devil Wears Prada for the breakdown.

Speaking of which, that Fortin Cali Suite plugin is so powerful lol I didn't think it would've sounded this clean when I had tuned my guitar down to Drop A. I play a Telecaster by Squire! They ain't meant to be played that low! The notes bend if I pick too hard! But somehow.. It just worked out and I'm blown away lmao

I can only listen to instrumental music when I´m drawing.
I´m listening to Chet Atkins a lot who is my favourite guitar player and songwriter.
Check him out when you want to hear something beautiful. It´s old fashioned music
but I think it´s timeless

Chet Atkins

Ah, neat. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check it out soon.

I've made a grave mistake in listening to this at a high volume like 2 minutes after waking up lmao I wasn't prepared in the slightest for beefy chugging outta nowhere and then the chorus kicks in and the introduction to that threw me for a loop as well, I thought it was gonna be some proggy sorta situation since everything got all quiet, nah just a standard chorus lol

ngl gonna i skimmed your comment saw "recommend, "convictions", and the Youtube link and just said aight les do it. A solid 8 outta 10, might check out the album idk

I've been listening to insaneintherainmusic on loop these past few days. What can I say, I love Pokemon and I love jazz
