Great lyrical rhyming here:
Ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do if the pay rate's right

I'm just not really interested in checking it out, I've never even played the games.

Ah, okay then. Thanks for letting me know about that. Just thought it'd be something you'd be interesting in checking out if only because the music and general "Anything goes" style of art direction and design reminds me a lot of your stuff if that makes sense.

It's nothing personal or anything. I'm just cautious with game soundtracks and even anime openings.
Because I'm very susceptible to liking something so much it goes into an 'official' playlist for my comic, and if it already belongs to an established (copyrighted) series, I feel a little off connecting them.
Some songs lend themselves to my characters so well, I have to be cautious.

That and ... I'm one of those people who have to have played the game in order to enjoy the soundtrack. They belong together.

Yeah, I get that and those explanations make a lot of sense.

And also I agree about that the gameplay and music going together. arguably one of the reasons why Guilty Gear's music works so well is because it is explicitly tied to the individual characters in portraying their arcs, personalities, motivations, backstories, etc. So I totally get that as well.

Man I'm just pumped to find music that feels like Whispered. That mix of classical asian instruments and melodic death metal.

Awwwww heck yeah. I've got two album drops to look forward to today!
Starting off strong with the rerecording of Metal

Attack on Titan gained my undying respect for having screams and growls in the new OP

Variety pack

This song by Amorphis is a masterpiece. This shows metal has the most beautiful songs out there.

This album is hitting just right the last day or two. Definitely the kind of stuff I jam when I'm stressed or frustrated

I have started a Danivere playlist, looking forward to filling it

I love finding these heavy metal bands from Japan with like 20 albums

Am I the only person who listens to hyperpop/digicore :frowning:

I've never heard of those genres, I do like some electronica though. (Like Synthwave or Chiptune)
If it has Pop in it as part of the subgenre, I'm probably not gonna dig it.

its like "pop" that's what all the bad hyperpop artists make it sound like, id much prefer to classify it as "hyperrap" (I myself hate pop with all my might so trust me its not at all pop) some people I recommends would be "NOVAGANG" (its a collaborative group so you'll find many different songs on that)

I might give it a shot sometime. Not really into rap all that much, as I'm a metalhead, but I've been surprised into liking things I normally wouldn't on occasion.

Jumping forward in their discography a bit to see how they evolved.

Definitely getting some Ningen Isu vibes from this one. The guitarist did list them as a big influence

Most of the time Spotify's official curated playlists suck, but this one is solid
