Thank you. I am just re-posting for now, but will try to write something specifically for Tapas afterwards

I'm supposed to be revising a scene where MC is under shock and interacts with new people who insist on looking after her. First version seemed plastic and cheesy, trying to make it more organic. I am in a different headspace since I wrote the first version.

Thank you for this thread.

I'm supposed to write the first episode of my 2nd season but I'm currently putting it off because I don't know how to start it, lmao.

I just realized I'm going to have to do a sex scene involving a trans man which means research. And I'm not quite so close with my trans masc friends that I can just shoot them wildly intrusive questions about their love life so... time to hit up strangers on the internet!

If it's a big family gathering, it sounds like a lot of characters to juggle. Big turning points are so hard to get the motivation to write. I hope you push through!

It is a lot of characters, and quite a few that have never interacted before, so, in theory, it should be super fun to write all the crazy things that happen with various (clashing) personalities!! In my head it sounds like so much fun! And then I stare at my screen and cry  :sob: lol

That moment when everything is going well, and then you realize you're running out of prewritten material:

Yeah I was like that at the start and when I uploaded first.
Now with the complete novel at hand i feel way better and already ten chapters into book 2, that I'll start posting in october, so... that feels nice xD

Yeah, the good news is I planned my first book out already from start to finish while mildly under the influence (legally) so I'll be okay, just very busy after the next couple weeks :joy:

Agreed. My other series started as a shot in the dark and it can be stressful figuring out the middle part

yes
My first novel I only had the major points plotted out, second book I have a overview per chapter ready

Omg on another platform I remember my friends being like "I can't wait to see where this goes!" on my first novel, and I was always thinking "girl, you and me both!" :joy:

Do you mean how the italics and bold don't copy into the editor? That's a gripe for me as well, but one of our users designed a chrome plugin to fix that. I'm using it, and it's working well so far.
