I think your train of thought is right, just write whatever you like at the moment. I usually write my pages down like a scenario, and whenever I finish writing a manuscript, I just put it away and brace for a wave of selfloathing ) When that passes, I just go right to the drawing, like it was written by someone else, and I don't have to think about how my writing sucks.
Anyways, just try doing it as it goes. Try not to think too much about it.

I'm struggling with understanding why our rating went down a bit hard on Webtoons. from a 9.5 to a 8.5. Mostly I'd like to know what folks thought was so bad to give it a 1or 2 star. There were no comments to indicate what was wrong.

That and I'm struggling to make good breaks in the scripts. I don't want to make the updates too long or too short. Too long and hubby struggles. Too short and folks get flustered since we only update once a week.

Since I've started up my first story driven comic I wanted to make it a short one and so it is. But then I've been overthinking whether or not people would think it's too fast paced for their liking even though it's supposed to be "short" :,)

Also backgrounds are my number 1 enemy.

@hamsterdude I wouldn't say that they make fun of you. More like they are irritated with some features of your behaviour. If you will take into account and think attentively about all what people have said to you in this forum in general and in that message in particularly, it will help you to understand, how to not irritate them anymore (if you want to make good online conversations).

For my taste, there is some disbalance in stories content in this site... Specifically, there are a lot of cute and nice stories, but not very much of really dark ones.
Not that cute and nice stories are bad... I'm just trying to say that dark and bloody stories can be very interesting and thrilling, too! And I like that you are creating more of them

I got the initial script for my comic done in a novel format, but I'm in the rewriting process as well as making it more in a comic script format. My mind feels like, "yes, I'm done!!" but it's facing that thought of "oh, I gotta redo it though with extra work..." and it just results in me being super lazy xD

I hate this tbh this is barely a complaint though, I'd totally do more work for it but it's like my dumb mind needs to catch up and just deal with it, hell, I love this community, but I'm addicted to it xD

right now I'm just trying to work on a new comic outline, getting things in order and on paper before revising... I really struggle with putting my ideas in paper -w-, I have the points just need to connect them but I can't be too specific or it get too long and cluttered and before I know it I lose track of the story and end up in a block where I have no escape 3:

if it means anything, ratings on webtoon don't seem to be perceived as very relevant by the reader community there. various fan factions mass 'downvote' other series in order to rank their favorites higher in webtoon's contests, so the serious readers seeking new comics don't take rating that much into consideration, and state this, a lot. don't sweat it.

I'm struggling with the lack of time caused by the exams ._. I'm so exhausted by them that I have little motivation to draw my comic (anybody knows how to deal with that?). And when it comes to comics... consistency? Good pacing? What's that? >.>

Well, I'm a 19 year old who doesn't make an income and can't drive and I have nothing to show my parents for all the support they have for me and I'm not really sure what direction my life is going because I want to do both 3d character modeling and my webcomic. I want to avoid college because I'd rather not end up being poor with an unimaginable amount of debt but I just stay at home all day and either work on my webcomic or my 3d stuff.
My boyfriend has a job that he's miserable at and there's nothing I can't really do about it except just listen and give him moral support.
It doesn't help that my webcomic doesn't have much traction anyway, It took me several months to get like 13 subs on it and I have a hard time meeting new people since I'm a bit shy.

I guess in short I'm having trouble getting my art career to take off.
Just rambling since its been on my mind for a while and I wanted to get it off my chest.

Maintaining physical and emotional well being has been, frankly, a big struggle for me and some of my collaborators. But I made a promise to keep doing what I'm doing, so here we go. We just need to pace ourselves and take up each other's slack when one or the other of us is lagging, and I'm OK with that.

Thanks... Its still happening.. I feel so sad... I wish people knew there was a reason why I did the stuff I did.. Someone just messaged me saying mean stuff and that I need a trigger warning 5 minutes before I arrive and that I flood the forums.. I'm sorry.... I just got banned from other places too.. I just went on the computer tonight after not being on all day and someone told me on a discord that I got banned from a discord too.. I always do stupid stuff and get banned at places and people don't like me.. I make other people uncomfortable... I don't like myself anymore..all I do is bother everyone..
