I thought it would be fun for us to mention what we're thankful for on Tapas. Like, what do you love most about Tapas?

I'm thankful for all the wonderful artists I've met here. If I didn't move to Tapas, I wouldn't have gotten into comics and started drawing again.

I'm thankful for the generally positive environment on Tapas, as well as people I've met here!

I'm also thankful for how understanding everyone is when it comes to needing a break, as I've had to take a couple of small hiatuses for health reasons.

One thing I appreciate most is the community. I came to Tapas at a time where I'd been just about ready to quit completely with the kind of art I'd been doing an it motivated me to pick it up again and really try to hone my craft. I've grown more artistically and as a person here on Tapas than any other platform I've been on.

I have seen "trolls and bullies" pop up but never in large numbers and when they did both the community and the staff were quick to step in and help in those situations which is something I hadn't seen in a long time.

I'm thankful for the positive and open community.
People treat each other here with so much more respect than on other sites. And even if there are disagreements, it's seems like user are more willing to agree to disagree rather than enforcing their opinion onto the other person. (Let alone go down on name calling and such)
I feel really safe and welcome here. I would even go so far and call this one of the very few happy and peaceful places left online.

I'm thankful for so many people I met through this site and for the constant entertainment it provides.

I would never spend as much time, effort and love into my comics - actually, I don't think I would even create comics anymore if it wasn't for this site and community. Given how much joy creating brings to me, that is a lot to be thankful for.

I'm thankful that this community is a beautiful place. I haven't felt this comfortable in the forums since a favorite website of mine was shut down in 2012

How easily approachable everyone is. Seriously, I ask for feedback and I'm not instantly told I'm the worst artist ever and that I should shove pencils up my nose; It's so easy to give and get constructive criticism, but I've also made a fair chunk of friends too!

I love the interactions you can have with others, and meeting other artists and making friends is really cool. I also like how everyone is nice, probably because they are/ were in the same boat as you, and I haven't met a single troll and I've had only one self promoting person on my wall, and that's pretty cool. It's also cool that you can see who subscribed to you, as that has helped me find some awesome comics and people in general!
