For my latest story there's Aster, who's a mage and sees the future through dreams. But that just makes him more prone to focusing on the future he's shown instead of the present. He can get too fixated on changing/fixing things, which makes him pretty manipulative, even if his intentions are good in the end. Because he spent most of his time shut away working, he's not good at understanding people past what he needs to get them to do what he wants. He's also really independent and he's okay with more or less using people but isn't likely to be completely honest about his motives.
Then there's Calixtus, who's pretty depressed after an accident that made him retire from his career as a knight. He's insecure and often questions his worth since the damage to his leg limits his mobility and his ability to fight. He dislikes being dependent on anyone and will push himself too far if given the chance. Though he doesn't really care what others think of him, he also doesn't stop to think that others might care about him.
Basically, they're a mess but they make their fake marriage work, lol. Here's a pic of them both:
