What are your Christmas-comic plans?

Last year, I was apart of a Xmas collab with a group of Tapastic creators and this year I'm in on another one! XD
So hyped for it! It's going to be big!

I also have a few Secret Santa art exchanges to finish up and drawing new banners/icons/special comic Xmas themed stuff. X3

I have some deadlines coming up so I don't have too much time for fun stuff :/

I'm from Puerto Rico and we even have this thing called "Parrandas". Think of it like...Christmas Carols if everyone was drunk on coquito (a coconut/cinnamon/rum christmas drink) and hungry. The concept is after midnight you creep up to someone's front door and yell "¡¡ASALTO!!" which is Spanish for, yeah "assault" and you play trumpets, tamborines, güiros, maracas, and sing as loud as possible till the person opens the door and invites you in for food and drinks. Then they have the option of going back to bed or joining the Parranda to wake-up another neighbor.

That is EXACTLY what the Swedish St Lucia-celebrations used to be! XD Except we did it early in the morning instead of at night, and some people were dressed up as goats. These days, Lucia-processions have become these well-behaved affairs with people singing carols and visiting public squares and reading poems, and absolutely no drunken home-invasion at all.

Most definitely! Since my comic is a slice of life, the holidays helps me have a fresh theme from which to "launch" new comic ideas.
Plus I think it helps your audience connect with the comic if they have a theme the reader can relate to.

long sigh I'm so behind on pages I probably won't have time for much of anything. I do have to do a secret santa image tho, and I'll probably try to draw a christmas image for Zenchav. Drawing a Christmas one shot sounds super fun, I wish I could do that but my productivity is always minimal towards the end of the year due to obligations. A one shot collab sounds super fun too siiiiiigh

How I still need to study for my final tests of high school until December 15, I'm not having to much time to work in my comics or practice drawing. But I'll make a Christmas special comic for Team Trouble in Christmas Eve.

Christmas is always quite busy with busy comic plans. But not as much as @annalandin I have to say. I don't know where you find the time.

I work without buffer so every week is a race against the clock to get the new page out. I'll do secret santas and probably be launching a giveaway by the end of the year. Depends on my page ratio. It would be to celebrate being half way in Shades Of Men.
This is gonna be fun!

Hahahaha! XD I find the time by being a workaholic with a very organised mind, and I started planning Wishlight in late July. I know how much time it takes to make a Christmas comic, so I start super-early!

I'll try to make a Christmas-related one-shot that also would be like an introduction for one of my series. I would like to release it on 24th but I don't know if I can make it since there are still some things to do at school. In case I wouldn't make it the one-shot would be released before New Years Eve.

I've been thinking about make just a drawing of Christmas with all my characters in my comic, wishing to everyone good stuff.
I wanted to make a chapter but like... there's no time for that, like I should have started some weeks ago xD so better a drawing, is quicker

Tragically i don't have time this year to do a Christmas comic. But hopefully next year it will all work out. I just couldn't think of something for Christmas.

BUT i still wanted to do something special for my subscribers so I've made a happy holiday card and when it's close enough to the holidays I'll be posting it on every single one of my subscribers walls.
