What are your comic mini-dreams?

Besides the obvious dreams of making a decent living at doing what I love, I really want to have an emotional connection with the audience. This particularly pertains to Viscearl. I want to know I made a difference in a stranger's life because of something they took away from my work. People straighten out their lives after hearing certain songs. That is the kind of positive influence I hope to achieve. Anything more will be a bonus.

My mini-goals are simple, yet mostly don't have a perceivable end.

• Finish the chapter within a decent time frame. (I'm over half way to this goal for the first chapter)
• Try new angles, perspectives, and colours to expand my horizon.
• Hopefully learn from mistakes on my previous page to make the next page slightly better.

I guess an extra mini-goal I have is for my characters to be interesting enough for people to ask question about them. Learning how people see my characters as opposed to how I see them is kinda cool, it also helps me develop them better.

Oh wow! A mini-dream of mine kind of came true. I did I say that I would like to make it to the spotlight or staff picks someday, but I did make the front page of Trending about 30 mins ago, and I'm still on the scroll-over page! I should have written this down earlier, because I have come close in the past by making it to the second page of Trending, and then falling off the face of the earth, so this is a huge boost to me!

EDIT: And like that I'm gone off the front page. Oh well, it was certainly nice to notice once.

More realistically, I'd loved to love to just sell a few more copies of my comics, as they're pretty much taking up valuable floor space.

• People shipping my characters. I don't plan on having romance in my story other than the plot related ones, but I have headcanon OTPs of my own.
• People using my art as reference, or come to me for advise. (I'm an art teacher IRL, so teaching is in my blood)
• Maintain enough interest in the story that I get to finish it.
• Be well rounded enough that people love not only my protagonists but also my antagonists.
• Be good enough that people notice and comment on good story pacing.
