[image] Inspired by Part 2 of "The Innocents" I found the seduction of Francesco especially chilling and... rather delightful. There's something to be said when a monster begins to play devil's advocate, and of course, I always find some titillation when I learn a deserving villain is savvied i…
This has probably been an overdue update, but everything's been kind of a mess the last week or so... [image] For clarity's sake, I'll remind everyone that I plan to add the actual beach later, so we're not constantly editing things for each new arrival. I still hope there are others who wish t…

@scullpanda I suppose a width of 300px at a resolution of 72dpi is a good general area to be in? Though I guess it really depends what kind of pose you plan to do. I trust your judgement.
@scullpanda You can use whatever pose you like, so long as it doesn't take up too much space and could easily be resized. @Shatterjure I was thinking of putting the beach in after the portraits were finished, that way I won't have to compensate, if I have to resize the canvas to fit everyone
These are actually some pretty good ideas. Also, not to brag, but a mild spring day where I live is usually -30C, and the roads are frozen... (I hate it here... ;v;)
Aheh... must of slipped my mind? ^^; My apologies.
Not so far. Just be mindful of pixel resolution, so things don't look blurry or blocky
Well, someone's gotta get the ball rolling first? Lol
That's pretty much the idea. Think of it like everybody coming in for a photo, or a candid picture of everyone together. The only thing to keep in mind is to try to keep with the beach theme
Good tip! Duly noted. Of course, this is predicated on the assumption we're all going to be using the exact same template. There's probably other people who might feel motivated to make one or two up of their own for their closer friends, or as an open invitational. Honestly, I'd be thrilled if pe…
Surf's up, Tapas Artists! Honestly, I feel like things have kind of slowed down around here, what with everyone on holidays, and everybody scrambling around with Pokemon Go through the last couple of weeks. If you're like me, (too broke to go anywhere and having substandard phone) you're probably …
It's an interesting idea... But to be frank, the way that tv cartoons have been going lately, I wouldn't want to put my stuff in to any of the mainstream production companies... Maybe Netflix, if I can get a deal on creative direction... Really though, I'd think I'd much prefer having my stuff cas…
I do plan on using some history and mythology in my Idle Vampire series. Of course with thousand year-old vampires as characters, it was kind of inevitable, lol
Leaving cards with the comic's url at cafes or businesses? Researching other outlets online to promote your comic (Startfaire is a pretty good example, if you do fantasy works) Selling or giving out sketch cards is a good way to promote yourself or your comic (Remember to include your signature …

Granted. I hit each key as I blink. I wish that transparent woman would stop floating over the foot of the bed...
My 4-panel comedy Idle Vampire recently just reached the 100 subscribers milestone, if you wish to take a look. Honestly, it's not much, I'm still under 20 episodes in right now, but all the same, I'd appreciate even a glance at it. ^^
I use my pseudonym all the time as a part of my art, and my online presence. It's all part of an identity I want to cultivate for myself, when I do get into a full-time artist career. I want to be a name that stands out in the crowd.
Me, I like the friends-turned-lovers trope. Like, when you have childhood friends who just end up becoming a couple because they have such a good chemistry and understanding of another, and it seamlessly translates into a healthy romantic relationship.

I take my sketchbook wherever, if I have some ideas for panel drawing, then use a scanner. It suits me, if I'm AFK. Otherwise though, it's usually faster to do it all digitally, since I already have my panel template set up on a .sai file.
Well, when I kinda flunked out of my college courses, I ended up with an epiphany that I wasn't feeling passionate about school anymore. The first year was great, because I was learning new stuff and making cool things, but in the second year, there was so much pressure to succeed and to make an imp…
I can't really stomach coffee, and I'm not a fan of tea... I'm more likely to just drink dangerous amounts of soda to give me that sugar rush to get things done, and crash just as soon as I finish something.
Countdown to Countdown By Vel Seriously, check it out. The art is gorgeous, and the premise is rich with intrigue.
I figure once I get my comic to 100 subscribers, I'll start up patreon for $1 support, and begin a milestone arrangement. I figure that if I put in a milestone or two, maybe supporters will cultivate more publicity for it, and I'll have more people following. Eventually, I want to work on other st…
