What are your favorite running gags/tropes in cartoons?

I don’t know if it would be considered as a running gag but I think it would be a trope. One of my guilty pleasure scenes is when a character gets up and tries on all their clothes in their wardrobe and settling on their usual outfit. It’s usually satisfying to see one character in so many clothes!

I might do a scene like this in a future comic or something maybe with my Cracking Eggs guys.

My favorite gag was in Kim Possible when Drakken couldn't remember Ron's name. Lmaooo cracked me up everytime

The "MY CABBAGES!" guy from Avatar the Last Airbender is such a legendary one that it keeps now getting referenced in other cartoons. I love it.

Another is the Futurama running joke where technological gadgets that absolutely don't need to be sentient robots with feelings turn out to be sentient robots with feelings.

Honestly, all of Phineas and Ferb is a running gag, I cannot for the life of me get the "doofenschmirtz evil incorporated!" Out of my head lol. The entire series is just so iconic.

In terms of tropes, does a musical episode count? Even if they're bad, they're always good.

I think every episode of Phineas and Ferb has at least one song all the songs are so iconic my favorites being Busted and Rubber bands (made with super special density).

Honestly there’s no song I don’t like but as season four came along the songs started to be forgettable for me.

I think my favorite running gag is the "my leg" voice clip from spongebob. I'm not sure if they even intended it as a gag at first, might just of been a way to save money reusing the same recorded line over and over again, but it certainly turned into a gag.

I loved the gag in rottmnt when they would abbreviate their names to anything but the conventional nickname. Leon, Micheal, Nardo, it made me laugh everytime

Well in the newer one (2012-2017?) TMNT they call Michaelanglo Mikey 🥺️

Fun fact in Britain Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1980s) is called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles and it’s mostly reanimated, redubbed and cuts all the “violence” in the show! So my characters Jack and Winston wouldn’t have grown up with the same one in America in the 80s. Unless they got bootleg copies or something idk. That would be my character Eric and Winston’s first dates just watch the uncut original American version on his VHS tapes while eating pizza ️🥺

Sometimes I look in my wardrobe and I think that I am a cartoon character( I wear mostly the same clothes. So I decided to look for some new clothes online. I love browsing through the different options when choosing my new clothes style. Most online stores let you choose between different styles- such as classic or trendy fashions- which makes this easy decision much easier. We live in a country where people dress very differently so choosing a style makes this easy for me personally too. I can easily pick something appropriate for any situation I may find myself in. I liked tankinis for women on https://www.lascana.com/Tankinis especially. They are really modern and fit me well.
