Originally, I didn't care when they announced several months ago in the forums that they were in the process of selling the site. I figured the site would stay about the same since they said it would. But, no, we're going through Drunk Duck's sequel. It's awful, and not just because "of change". They got rid of the RSS feeds, usable URLS have been replaced with nonsensical IDs, you have to view source / inspect element to copy/paste the comic images into a separate tab so you can view it at its normal and legible size, you can't login to the forum anymore, I couldn't comment because it wouldn't accept my password and right now I can't be bothered to test their password reset function, and there are sticky DIVs blocking the comics now for "navigation" purposes. Even Drunk Duck didn't destroy itself as badly as SmackJeeves has.
I could deal with the shitty and gratuitous over-use of white space that has become the fad of modern websites, but they also went with the trend of being very user unfriendly. I pulled my comic mirror off there a few years ago because of how difficult the creator tools were, and thankfully the one webcomic I was still reading on SmackJeeves moved to a more traditional platform. It really sucks that ComicFury is just about the last normal webcomic host out there, they have a really toxic community that puts deviantART to shame.
