The most recent book I've read was the H.G. Wells Competition anthology "Motion." It's a collection of short stories. My favorites were "Currents of Cabo Verde" "Figurehead" and "Away the Water Drains."
I am rereading “The Schwa was Here” by Neal Shusterman. It’s a book I enjoyed as a teenager and I wanted to revisit it. It’s also a good example of magical realism.
