I know I need to be patient but rn I want to know some good ways/places to promote my comic?
I'm currently doing a mini comic series while I'm slowly working on a more serious main comic.
How does everyone else get readers?
My series:

I wanna turn on ad revenue but I don't have enough subs...

Since your series is 4-koma-ish, I suggest sharing them on instagram in multiple image posts so people can swipe to see the next panel~

Promoting on social media and using tags is generally the way most people try to find new readers. Of course you can advertise in the appropriate threads on this forum as well.

awww i love it! Funny and cute ^^
I'd say have a consistent schedule (once a week, twice a week?)
Have you promoted your work here on the forums? Also get engaged in the community, be genuine.
Post on social media (insta, twitter, tumblr still a thing?)
When people sub to you thank you on their wall (I still feel uneasy about this though, maybe people hate it?)

Ad revenue is very little though, so don't get your hopes up too high on that. I think you'd make more revenue opening a patreon or Ko Fi as you already have.

good luck!

I have space for more banners on my upcoming novel.

I wrote a bit of a post on marketing comics externally in another thread. Not every bit might be as relevant as the next, but you might get something useful out of it.
