At some point when I started my comic Mukhtar about two years before I publish it here, I was not able to take my comic projects seriously.
I don't know if it will ever be interesting nor exciting to anyone who view it, it's this negativity that I give it up and 10 months before going back to it. It took more than a month to finish a page which shows why I'm losing interest.
But what I do during these 10 months is looking at histories especially the rise and fall of Kingdoms, Republics, Empires and Caliphates.
I even played games revolving around histories such as Total wars, Eu4 and Ck2 and I got fully invested in medieval ages.
And the one thing that stood out to me is that there is barely any middle easterners especially Arabs who never make their own comics or novels.
So I decided to take my work seriously in order to pull out my ideas out of my brain and paste it on the scrolls for everyone to see.
I even go so far as adding extra panels on my preserved pages just to make it more clear on what is going on, 6 more panel are added to my upcoming pages this week.
All we need is a little push to get ourselves invested on why we are taking our projects very seriously. For me, I based my comics on what I like the most and is why I choose to never stop finishing until the story is finally done ( which will take so long mind you).
