A good place to find comic creators is likely in several of the comic creation hashtags that go around. #webcomicchat #comicbookhour #comicartistsunite #spiderforest, etc.

Heh. I was here in the early days, when you could just grab "Dan" for your user name XD

At $1.99 for 1,600 Ink, the exchange rate is roughly (rounding) $1:800 Ink, all the way to the highest tier, $49.99 for 60,000 Ink which is roughly (rounding) is $1:1200 Ink. When that person decides to spend the Ink, a second exchange rate is applied when in transit to the creator, however the seco…

Google makes me think it is Love and Wish, @audrey1014 .

I'm sure by searching around you can find something that might work better. Or at least it can give you an idea on what it could look like, and you could draw it manually.

One page? Hmm... [image] Post-apocalyptic Mad Max meets space marines?

A quick google of "make a family tree" gave an online tool that might work better for you: https://www.familyecho.com/ And a bunch of others a google away.

I'd recommend you look into some genealogy programs, as they can help make visualizations of family trees, or at least give you ideas on how it would look. Rootsweb is one I've used that has some free versions.

Do short story collections get love too? I just started posting mine here. Although a few of them are long enough to be a novella, at least.

I make a post apocalyptic comic, but it DOESN'T have zombies....usually. There are some "zombies" in this sequence, but not the typical type. Spoilers, but protagonist is having a TERRIBLE nightmare. With sci-fi mech zombies

Greener energy sources, with solar panels and photovoltaic cells on every roof and window. Better access to public transportation.

Well, I'm always in the market for an artist to draw a story with me, tho I'm used to paying XD I write a post-apocalyptic stories called The Demon Archives: More of it online at my main site: While the main story (~100 years after WW3, civilization rebuilding in central Asia) is well un…

Thanks all! Now just to struggle with the backend UI, and figure our why, when I tried, it wouldn't actually CREATE the series when I pushed the button

Just clarifying, do you have a story in mind, or are you looking for writers to pitch you ideas? You could browse the multitude of collab posts with writers seeking unpaid artists if that were the case

Other question, do you think I should create a single "Novel series" to host all the stories, or are you supposed to create separate novels for each?

How about one/two from my comic? Jane (truly Artificial Intelligence, on the left) and/or Angeline, the scientist who designed her? [image] [image]

Certainly you may! Do you want to be linked to their appearances in comic, or have images dropped here?

Yeah I think you're fine! Unless there's a clear description/delineation in the Tapas ToS otherwise. Page looks good, btw

I would not. But that may because my concept of mature level violence is more graphic, and I wouldn't think it's fair to label yours as mature as mine XD.

What can I say, I'm old :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Which you can probably guess by my handle. I was here back in the early days, when it was still Tapastic XD If only I'd published more frequently here back then, my comic might be more popular now XD

I guess just a question of, do people actually read Novels here, or is that only if you're one of Tapas' special featured works or something?

Oh yes definitely would be crediting those I worked with

Along with my comic, I've also written and cowritten several short stories in the same setting (post-apocalyptic earth, ~100 years after, civilization rebuilding). Can anyone with Tapas Novels experience chime in on whether it's worth bringing them over? I'm particularly proud of the Nightshade se…

Oh I thought you meant breaks as in a hiatus on posting your comic XD The answer for THAT is try to post guest/fan art. More along the theme of what you're saying tho, I read a good book, or play an old old video game for nostalgia's sake (helllo SNES!).

If it's not fun or creatively fulfilling, take a break from it, I say. Unless you imagine becoming so popular that you derive significant income from your comic (an unlikely prospect for anyone), it will likely continue as a hobby project, and thus isn't worth doing if it doesn't spark joy, as Marie…

All my chapter covers can be seen here: I'm the most proud of this one: [image]

I compiled a list of reviews and etc that I've received in the past: Not all of them are necessarily still open and actively reviewing, but many are. In times past when I had more free time I reviewed comics myself. I may return to doing that at some point, if the style of my reviews is still t…

I've previously written up several of my tips for promotion, both free and via paid ads, with data from my site analytics to compare efficacy: https://demonarchives.com/tag/tutorials/ Some of it is out of date slightly, after Project Wonderful went out of business. But they seem to be being repl…
