What do you hope to achieve this year of 2025?

Personally I'm hoping I get my web-comic started. I've a lot of projects already so it's gonna take some time to even start. I've been able to sketch a cover for my comic called Advocate of Avarice (AoA), make a basic reference for my main character Julian Rookwood, and have a idea in mind of what the story will be about.

Feel free to post your characters, wips or otherwise here I'd love to see!!

But I've decided to go with the more realistic, "Win the lottery."

The book is about a Vietnamese man who works at a convenience store trying to convince an African American woman he meets (who edits romance novels for a living) that he could get her to fall in love with him. She's convinced nothing can impress her anymore since she's read so many romances, and he wants to prove her wrong.

And 16 TIMES?

as for this goal. I got proffesionally published once in 2023 and 4 times in 2024, so my goal is to keep quadrupling the amount of publication credits I gain.

I, too, want to get my webcomic started this year! I’m creating it with a friend and we want to get the first chapter out by August 31. I actually started drawing it last summer, but then I wasn’t sure about the art style… and then I did some more research and realized I drew everything wrong… then rewrote the script… now I’m planning to redraw everything again (hopefully starting next week) but now there’s this new plot point so I might just rewrite the script again screams incomprehensibly in overthinking writer
Anyway, it’s going to be a historical romance! Set in a very disturbing time period, but don’t worry, none of the romance part will be with a weirdo.

I promised my little brother that I would redraw this little comic he drew as a birthday present, so I’m hoping that I actually get it done this year . It shouldn’t be too hard since it’s not very long. It better not take all year…

Goals are to finish Chapter 2 of my comic and begin work on Chapter 3 within the same year! While also proof reading the rest of the chapters for my novel that I have in bulk and then releasing them. Will be a challenge thanks to school but Im up for it!

So basically, Fire guy (who is cooking) his son Fred accidentally makes him drop his hot sauce flapjack on the ground. Fire guy becomes very angry and threatens Fred with a knife, but changed his mind and squirts hot sauce on him. Fred throws it back at his dad who turns into a hot sauce flapjack. Then Fred eats his dad. there’s more after that, but… that’s all I’ll say for now.

Ooh, I want to finish book two of my romance novel, and book one of my action fantasy novel. I'd also love to work on more artwork in 2025, and post more regularly on social media with story updates.
