I don't have a single preference for a genre; i like story series and slices-of-life, fantasy and sci-fi, drama and action, all stuff.

Instead, i don't like certain devices and trends that disconnect me from the comic. So, for example, a cutesy romance subplot...or forced, anime-style cuteness in general.

I happen to like the stuff I got into writing - supernatural action stuff......... and mafia crime stuff.

My favourite comics are Preacher, Hellblazer and Deadpool. It really shows in everything I write lol
I also really love Junji Ito's works! I collect them.

Superheroes really aren't my thing.

Mostly fantasy, science fiction, horror, and crime, but I do enjoy some slice of life from time to time. Mainly GL.

I collect DC Comics, mainly from Green Lantern and love them to death. Superhero Comics are just my thing. I love the characters, the powers, the flashy art and will go through many reboots and whatnot, because I love them so much.

Aside from that I enjoy all kinds of comics. I enjoy comics with fantasy vs. science elements, with lots of mysteries and a world we get to know slowly through the characters eyes (for example the well known Gunnerkrigg Court). But I also like short, humorous slice of life comics or deep artistic comics from time to time. I think a good comic can convince me of any genre, as long as the characters and art are captivating to me.

I like simple, slice-of-life short comics that are fairly light-hearted. Otherwise I like to go for something a bit more adventure-y.

I don't really have the time to dedicate to long-running series, so I tend not to start them at all. I even gave up reading Naruto and Bleach and Fairy Tail because it's simply too hard to keep up with all the details of a story that has been going on for over 300 chapters.

I'll eat up anything but I'm not really a fan of fantasy or adventure, since I don't care much for word building or anything. I like to stick to good ol "slice of life" realistic fiction stories that have a focus on characters ^_^

I love fantasy. I'm a sucker for adventure and mistery too, And i always like a little romance. I don't like it when a comic is only about romance, but a little is nice.

I like fantasy, adventure, and anythign with emotion and focus on characters. My favorite stories are ones that have relatable characters and an exciting plot

Have you tried The Simple Things4? It's by no one in particular.....

I like serial comics as well as graphic novels that drive home a point or evoke emotion. I'm especially a fan of simplistic main characters with heavy emphasis on inking.

Think Calvin and Hobbes, Bone, Far Side, Watchmen, Unsounded, etc.

I like on-going (not endless) comics such as action, supernatural, fantasy, romance, adventure, crime, historical, etc. The only types of comics I will not read as much are sports, slice of life or comedy.

Not really someone with a specific preference.

I seem to gravitate toward incredibly silly things, or incredibly well thought out storylines, though...

i love a lot of genres, but i gravitate towards romance, comedy, horror, mystery, or experimental comics. i also love, love, love comics with 'weird' art styles.

I'm making a romance/drama comic, but believe it or not, I'm mostly into horror or psychological stories.
Shounen-type manga is cool, too, but only if it's done right since I'm rather picky ;;;

usually action fantasy type, I like my Vanilla XD. Also, a bit of romance from time to time =)

Um.
There's action.
And then there's the philosophical love type of thing.
(Think like TFIOS, or Nisekoi, or Toradora, or (insert shounen anime))
God I'm such a cliché...
