IIII sincerely hope people don't try voting for a third party or else its going to be the 2000's election all over again. Forget which bush, but it's how Bush won the presidency because everyone went with a third party (Nader) and it wasn't enough to beat out the republican votes. I'm pretty sure it'd be the same case with this election too, Trump has a ton of supporters, whether you like it or not. Even though Clinton has done horrible things, she's still a better candidate for the presidency than Trump is (I voted for Bernie and I'm still extremely disappointed in what was revealed through the DNC email leak.)

Anyway, back on topic - I've lived in the U.S all my life and much like everyone else, certain things like healthcare and gun control make me raise my eyebrows. Politics is super weird and confusing IMO, but I wish it was as simple as just making a law to outlaw assault weapons or implementing universal healthcare, but the fact is the House? iirc is controlled predominantly by republicans, which for example is why Obama couldn't do as much as he could because the House kept shooting down every bill he tried to pass. Which is why its, IMO, annoying when people from other countries mock the U.S following a shooting or whatever for not having something that should already be in place - not to say everyone does, but there's usually a vocal minority that doesn't quite understand why it's not as simple as that.

Even though a lot of things are morally questionable, it's still a tad bit better than other countries.

This couldn't be any truer! xD
I think the Boston accent sounds pretty nice but I cannot stand southern accents or anything hick.

The lesser of two evils is still evil. You shouldn't have to cheat the system to get a nomination not to mention that Sanders did consistently far better in the polls against Trump than Clinton did. Sorry not sorry, but the only thing Mrs. Hillary is good for is rotting away in prison for conducting her government work on a private server thus why Benghazi happened and over what the e-mail leaks revealed this weekend about her and the DNC. Third party or bust.

I came from Vietnam haha. TBH I only like the foods over there.

I'm well aware that Sanders did far better than trump, and even in publicity polls he did way better than Clinton. I'm just saying it's a possibility that it may be a repeat of the 2000s election, though I do agree that it sucks we're stuck in a lesser of two evils scenarios unless it's changed by force. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It's funny to think how George Washington stated that politics shouldn't be split into two and that's exactly what Adams and Jefferson did following his death..

Doesn't mean we shouldn't try to get a third party candidate in office. If that fails, then yeah, lethal force it is. (hoping that it won't come down to that, but sometimes you have to do something really shitty to do something that's right. shrugs) About Washington, the guy probably wasn't expecting a two party system after he chose not to seek a third term even though he could've very easily won given his popularity.

Despite being born and raised in a country that was plunged into 17 years of horror and misery because of CIA intervention, I don't hate the USA.
To me it's just another country with good and bad points. I can't say I particularly pay a lot of attention to what happens there, well, not any more than any other country anyway.

What country are you from?

I don't hate the US, it has its good sides and bad sides. The good side, people is willing to help and fight for changes, there are poeple that what they have proposed they have done it, the bad side, there is also people that seems to be ignorant and quite hypocrite with other cultures and aren't that open minded as they look like, no offense, you expect that from an undeveloped country like mine, where education is mediocre, I'm from Venezuela (South America) even tho we have the "blessing" of the oil, more like a curse I'd say, its a poor country. I never been to the US, I get that idea from what I read an see on the TV and Internet, which might not reflect the whole country, but an important side of it, but I'd like to go and eat all your donnuts hahaha. Also I hate the fact that is one of the countries that throws to trash tons of eatable food :c. Also, America includes both North America (Canada/US) & South America (From Mexico to Argentina), so its a mistake refering to 'Murica as the US only XD.

2 years later

Sigh...

I've been through a lot. I've been through a lot of love, and I've been through a lot of hate. Both continue to this very day. Whether I lose or gain followers or deals with what I will say makes no difference. Although I will also say that whomever cuts me off is losing a skilled creator, albeit one that has never fully published anything yet.

To answer your question...I don't have time or energy. There is never time or energy to think about something that doesn't exist, that never will exist. Expressing love or hate towards this both concepted and practiced nothing is a huge waste. My time is better spent creating for its own sake, and I don't found my creations on hardly anything for the record; they're completely spontaneous.

I never knew what it's like... though I wanna visit there one day.

It's why I'm researching about what it's like there, seems people here have interesting insights about it.

i think it's... a huge mess. used to want to live and study there for college but not anymore.

I have nothing against the people who live there, but USA policies are utter garbage, their constant anti-socialist propaganda machine in the news circles is fucking stupid, I hate the patriotism that makes it almost impossible to talk about any of the atrocities or shifts in the world certain actions have caused (Mainly; Wars). Gun policies are ridiculous, everything about it is ridiculous on the policy side. Untrained cops shooting civillians left and right. Student debt. People having to choose to buy medicine or healthy food. Absolutely barbaric.

I also really don't like the fact that they're one of the biggest polluters (2nd? or was it 1st?) and main culprits for the climate change but so much of the population is so hell bent against commuting or any sort of recycling because literally everything has to be about convinience. Everyone recycles plastic and cardboard ATLEAST where I'm from, most people do more. It's so stupid. It grates on my nerves so much.

this lol like I hate how whenever you bring up the negatives about the us, there's always that one douchebag that goes "WELL IT'S NOT YOUR COUNTRY SO NOT YOUR PROBLEM!!!!" implying we should shut up and not care just because we don't live there. Well hun I WOULD, weren't it for that the US is taking the liberty to not only fuck shit up for themselves but for EVERYONE ELSE TOO. Their prude attitude, their overly capitalist approach, the global warming denial... all of it finds its way back to the rest of us.

Stop fucking shit up for everyone else, then you can be free to fuck your own country up as much as you want.

I mostly don't care about US, we have many our own problems here in Russia.

But there is something I like about US - gun laws and gun culture in general. We can only dream when stupid government will stop restricting our right to have weapons. And when it will stop prohibiting handguns (Browning HP one love  ) this will be the best day in my life.

Also, American cars were awesome when they made full-size (at least mid-size) sedans and personal luxury coupes.

@LordVincent

Oh my god ikr. The fact that climate change deniers are even given the time of day is so utterly idiotic it makes me want to go and smack people with books. The US is so backwards in the stupidest areas.
