What do you use to draw?

For traditional art, I use Staedtler pencils and fineliners, Pentel fude pens and brush pens, a mix of Copic/Winsor & Newton/Ohuhu markers, Daler-Rowney and MozArt Komorebi watercolors, Ecoline (both the inks and the brush pens), Derwent and Caran D'Ache color pencils. Paper can be anything from regular copy paper to Fabriano paper, Ohuhu sketchbook paper, Arches watercolor paper or... Flying Tiger's super cheap watercolor paper XD

For digital art, I mainly use Procreate on an iPad Pro 12'9'' with an Apple pencil nowadays. For editing, I use Photoshop and for lettering I use either Clip Studio Paint or Affinity Designer.

It's really quite easy. There are many shapes, and of course free style tools to use. And you can easily copy and paste things over to other slides/drawing projects.

I use photoshop and a Wacom 27QHD Cintiq attached to a decent gaming computer. When I work on the go I've got a Wacom MobileStudio 16" from a couple years ago that works pretty well.

I use a Huion HS64 and Clip Studio, which I managed to get on sale for $25. I'd like to get something with a screen at some point, preferably a tablet so I don't have to be at my desk to draw.

I use an old Wacom Bamboo CTH-461 (which I was able to snag for free) and Krita for digital work.
Good old ink and watercolors for my traditional art, but lately I've been doing less and less of it...

Ooh I've used a Wacom Bamboo for so much time! My parents bought it as a gifts back in 2008 or so, and it did it's job until I bought a screen tablet a couple of years ago. Now I keep the Bamboo as a backup.

I use ClipStudioPaint EX Software. As for equipment... I used Bosto Graphic Tablet 16HD for my home and while I am out on the go, I use my Tablet Laptop Convertible Chuwi 10. But most of my work is done with Bosto

I kid you not, that thing might have an awful looking texture, but (as long as you only paint a few layers and don't use too much water) actually works better than, say, Canson's "watercolor" paper, which wouldn't absorb any water at all and felt like painting on freaking plastic

Yeah I have an iPad(6th gen) I bought on sale(Black Friday) about 3 yrs ago. I have Clip Studio on that as well(subscription based- but only $5 a month). From time to time when I'm not home I will use it, but still trying to get used to it.

I dont know if "book format" is the right term for it. Basically the multiple page option, so all your pages are in one file. You can have this option when you first create your file.

I also use traditional media but I don't have my markers as nicely stored as @Scarlet_Cryptid
Although those cases are pretty practical aswell. I use two different papers. One is a bit thicker for the lineart and the other is a nice bleedproof layout paper for markers. For the lineart I use those colored pencils. When I scan the linart later, I just can select the black lines and the colored ones wont be in the way. Now I print the lines again and add some color with my markers or watercolors. After that is finished I scan again and make the final touchup and text with clip-studio.

Seriously though. To any of my fellow marker artists, or other folks with lots of pens or pencils or whatever...

If you have an art supply store anywhere near where you live, see if they're planning on getting rid of any of their pen or pencil display racks any time soon. If they're anything like the place I worked, they literally just throw them away, so they'd probably give them to you for cheap if not free, just so they don't have to dispose of the racks themselves.

For markers especially, being able to store them lying flat like this really helps keep them organized, easy to sort through, and keeps both ends of the marker juicy. It does take up a lot of space on my desk, but I use my markers on a near-daily basis, so it's worth it for me.

I was hoping to save enough to get a samsung s6 lite on sale, but I'm doing alright with my cheap Huion so far. All in all, my current setup cost about fifty bucks.
