Aria quietly slips into Mana's room, her eyes ignores the sight of lush greenery adorning every corner, a verdant contrast to the minimalist elegance of her own space. Though the same wash of night stars from the large windows, same moonlight pillars from the skylights. Scent of flowers and foliage reminds her the comforting embrace of being together. In a far corner, tall bookcases create a sanctuary within a sanctuary, a cozy nook in the space where Mana had created a room within a room, surrounded by all the favourite stories and fantasies.
Making her way to her usual spot amidst the blankets and pillows she had arranged, Aria settles in with a contented sigh. Mana's cot lies nearby, preferring simple things over the grandiose place. He had always thought a queen's bed was too much, opting to camp every night instead. Mana had several times organised every blanket and pillow to much resistance, as Aria would just recreate her spot again, he had given up a long time ago. "Do you want me to stay up with you?" Mana snickers smilingly.
Aria gently shakes her head, a playful smile graces her lips. "No, I'm going back to sleep soon," she assures, already feeling better from the same old familiar nights. "I'd say don't make this a habit." Mana hints, "But I think we both know you're passed that." He continues to snickers.
Nestling into her makeshift bed, she finds a calm in being by her friend, his giggles and laughter a lullaby to her ears.
