What does DA stand for?

I've read something talking about social networking sites, this one said "...Tumblr and DA".

I searched " D.A. website", then this came up:

Is DeviantArt almost the same as Tapastic?

It isn't made specifically as a platform for comics. But people do post comics there! Along with that, illustrations, photographs, pictures of arts and crafts, cosplay photos... almost everything you can imagine.

There are buckets of nudity there, though. But no straight up porn (I think. Haven't been frequenting there for a while).

That was probably for the better. I think you'd get more people who enjoy your comic here since it's a comic site. On DA you'd be competing with a lot more stuff.

From what I've heard, Smackjeeves is all right. So I guess it wouldn't hurt to post there too. I personally have never used it, the layout looks over ten years old.

SmackJeeves and ComicFury are both great options for a free webcomic. SmackJeeves isn't as hot as it used to be, but still I have several hundred followers there. They follow an older navigation style of click through the pages left to right, instead of scrolling down through the current chapter, the way that Tapastic does. I still prefer that for browsing on my desktop, but I definitely like how Tapastic works on mobile devices, so it's a toss-up. You can always post more than one place (unless you get to be premium and have some kinda exclusivity deal) so why not give it a try?
