So recently I reached around 190-195 subs on Tapas
and on Webtoon I'm at 1.7k subs...
I always wondered what does it do when you are at 250 subs on Tapas (I know it unlocks support: ''Get support from fans when they give you Tapas Ink''
but what does that do specifically?
here's my Comic on Tapas and on Webtoon if you are curious!

When fans give you ink, that ink translates to real money. Once you accrue $25, you can transfer it from your Tapas balance to your paypal account.

So what does it actually do?

People's expectations when reaching 250 subs or unlocking ink support: Finally I get to make money from my series! It has been thriving like nothing before! I'm gonna make cash and clout, I'm so excited to make the next episode. My subscribers will be happy for me! I'm gonna make celebratory thread on forum.

Reality: It takes you some time to reach 25 dollars (minimum amount to withdraw, after fee), especially if there's no event like inksgiving. The 250 subscribers and growing more like I'm gaining more dead subscriber, oh look someone unsubscribe! Not all of them gonna give you ink. The celebratory thread on forum become a self promo thread and nobody cares about your series when they can promote theirs.

Not gonna lie, kinda glad someone said this.

I just subbed your story and that Kazuki needs a personality makeover. Handsome, yeah, but ohhhhhh, that's only where the adventure begins! That personality even showed when he was a tiny little kid. I hope you'll check out my story at webtoons and give me a 10 rating. I think the art is higher that 9.05. Thanks.
