trying to enjoy splatoon but my petty pet peeves are kicking in and i don't wanna be sick of this game yet given the price :confounded: it's fun at least half of the time but random queue with hasn't reaped very many good teamates and on the rare occassion it does connection issues totally wreck that  salmon run especially has been grueling and like imo it's not that tough a game mode if you know what bosses to take out first, how to manuever and mow down lesser salmons and then just...using the communication functions implemented in the game (so many preventable crew wipes had folks just used the help button or listened to a given this way....)

in better news season of aurora is comin in four days and i'm HYPE!!! Aurora (the singer behind runaway) is collabing with tgc again (she does the vocals for one of the main opening cutscenes as well as the song that plays in the game credits) and it's a WHOLE SEASON with more songs (i kinda peeped beta spoilers) but i'm so so excited for this one! I dont think i'll be buying an adventure pass this go round coz i'm not that interested in the cosmetics but i'm super looking forward to it and i know for sure i'll probably get super emotional over this one like i did season of the little prince so i'm just kinda holding my breath waiting :heart_03:

I also have some frustrations with the game which I hope will eventually be patched. The graphics and environments look nice but I feel like the gameplay and weapons have been a bit nerfed. I don't really enjoy playing the PvP battles and ended up spending more time on the Salmon Run. I also really hate that beach level in the PvP, it's not enjoyable at all. I think the one player mode is OK but a bit too short. The card game is also OK.

I think whats been most interesting with this is tradeoffs coz some weapons got shorter range in exchange for higher damage or higher range in exchange for accuracy and so on especially when you compare them to new weapons

as for maps i think what i've done is just kind of built a variety of weapons that i'm decent with so i can trade out depending on what maps are in circulation. tri-stringer ironically wound up being my strongest so long as i can time my shots/get the angles right meanwhile it's a mix of splatlings, shooters and splatanas that have worked where stringers kind of miss (and for some reason i've been doing better(?) on the new maps as opposed to recurring ones)

i'm honestly hoping serves issues improve as more folks migrate but honestly who knows at this point (p sure there's still foks playing splat 1 so ???)

i managed to drag out story mode a bit with some of the target based and timed challenged kicking my ass and i'm honestly just kind of staring at after alterna coz as much as i want the headband i know i'm not getting it

and i couldn't really figure out tableturf so if it were ingame im just collecting the cards for the pictures than actually playing

I have a hate/love relationship to playing skribbl.io
It´s a horrible online drawing game, but it´s addictive

season of AURORA started yesterday in Sky and first quest literally had me in tears :cry_01: it probably ties into emotions i have with just the song itself but hearing her voice and then watching events in the spirit memory play out i totally cracked but it was a good cry~ the cosmetics are super pretty too and seem to be based on outfits Aurora herself has worn for various songs and performances so now I'm like really tempted to try and also save for an adventure pass (next to like every other expense) but aaahhh it's even got a mask based on her look in cure for me which has been my fave song to jam to recently so i really really am looking forward to what this season will have to offer!~ I just love Aurora's voice so to have her sound guiding us through the kingdom of sky beyond just our first and "last" moments in the game is exciting <3

I'm playing Overwatch 2 and its so weird because if you DON'T know, the game basically feels like a game that was in development for awhile then something went horribly wrong and the entire team had to change. Which, hey, that's cool, I guess, I can give it a shot, but its a little funky when you're playing and like "Haha! Heroes never die! Oh, right, the voice actress was murdered over her success for this game. Well at least I can use this emote and, oh, right, it was animated by some guy who stole his coworker's breast milk"

Well, okay then, at least I can always switch on over to my favorite cowboy character! Oh yeah, they changed his name because it turns out he was named after an alleged rapist

Bruh the world needs more gaming webcomics giving their two cents because the climate is nuts these days

19 days later
26 days later

I started playing prominence poker on the playstation.
You can play it online without having to pay for playstation plus.
The game is also completely free.
I stopped playing red dead redemption because it was getting boring
and I was mostly playing poker in rdr anyway.
I also stopped playing skribbl.io, it is a fun drawing game but the kids
who are playing it are too annoying

Sky x AURORA collab concert in 2 days. On the outside I'm  in the inside I'm

This season is on par with if not even better than Little Prince which is the season i started playing during and I've been wowed again and again with each song and it's accompanying stories and based on the trailer the concert looks like it's going to be AMAZING so I'm like super nervocited about this thing. Also the scale for the event looks like it's gonna be huge so I'm like super amped to be surrounded by so many other skykids and experiencing it all at the same time with them

There's also big run this weekend so I'm getting hit back to back with big in game events. I'm not nearly as hyped for this one as I am the Aurora concert but it'll at least be interesting. I guess I can chock up part of my lack of excitement to the idea of doing what's essentially still salmon run but with folks who've never played the game mode but like...I'mma do what I can to still have fun with it coz despite it's challenges SR is my favorite game mode. Data miners found a good chunk of stuff about it so it seems like it'll be pretty cool in terms of music and atmosphere but the prizes seem kinda meh and there doesn't seem to be any stakes in terms of anything happening to Wahoo World post Big Run. If anything I think I'm just looking forward to plaza memes and other players reactions ( = ω = )

Marvel Snap! is basically crack cocaine in card game form.

I'm also playing Bioshock Infinite, one of the games I have in my ever increasing backlog.

MW2 and I'm likely the only one here who does

Now I play Diablo 2 and I can safely say that this is my fav game this year. The plot is very exciting, as are the boss battles. Except I find it quite difficult to complete some quests and collect unique items. When I learned about the properties of the Windforce bow from yes gamers1, I really wanted to get it, but defeating the final boss turned out to be a very difficult task

@simplykit I think its only on Xbox, and PC. I'm playing it on my steam deck, but I don't think its available for my PS4.

I've been playing a lot of MW2 DMZ tbh. I have...A lot of conflicted things to say about it, so read Game Punks for strip about MW2 soon

Hows DMZ vs the regular objective modes I wonder? Ive been shy on trying DMZ after hearing too much bout lobby and OP bot issues

Ive been strictly domination, hardpoint, and kill confirmed thus far

Right now I've been playing Cuphead and replaying Omori (didn't finish last time I played, lost my save files T-T)
So far it's being a neat ride

Got to experience the Sky x Aurora concert and it was even more beautiful than I'd anticipated. Wound up sobbing by the end but it was such a moving experience being guided through the world of Sky by her voice. There really were nearly 4000 players all in the one big shared space to enjoy it together and honestly that's amazing for Sky and it's no doubt been amazing for a lot of folks too. Literally just this ethereal experience getting to see these glimpses of the Sky kingdom's past and then hearing Aurora's songs. I actually wound up running out of video space while recording or rather trying to record these moments in the concert but honestly it was worth it. Honestly I'm hoping to draw some of my favorite moments (quality be danged just to hold onto the memory) because it really was just a touching experience

Also checked out big run which started today and eh =v=;; not terrible but i guess i felt underwhelmed after all the hype but the atmosphere of splatsville with the red sky and ominous music in the grizzco lobby is pretty neat. a lot of folks were right to assume that it'd be tough playing with randoms but i at least managed to clear like a couple shifts.

overall tho i dont think i'll be poking my head into big run all to much tbh and just hand around in the aurora event space in sky because even if there's not a whole lot going on between concerts (aside from thousands of other sky kids swirling around you <3) the vibe of the place is chill and something i think i'd prefer. PLUS there's a little meditative/quiet spot where you can chill and breathe and if you use the sitting mats you can hear aurora guiding you through breathing exercises so it's like all the more cozy <3

I've been playing Pentiment lately, and the artstyle is a delight, especially combined with how the UI is set up, how the dialogue works and so on. I'm not sure I can call it "immersive", because the whole thing is very stylized and symbolic, but all the elements work so well together that they create an immersion of sorts - not into the actual 16th century, but into a symbolic representation of it, I guess?

Currently playing Pikmin 2 again!!! I will play Splatoon 3 and Sonic Frontiers in this Christmass!!!

been playing Final Fantasy 4
trying to finish it before christmas cause my bf got me a Tales Of game and I cant do 2 Jrpg's at once!

Found my guide book to Final Fantasy 12 for PS2, so I think I'm gonna eventually plug in Final Fantasy: The Zodiac Age(which is basically FF12 for PS4) and play that. I loved playing FF12 on my PS2(I have it for PS2) until my nephew destroyed my PS2 by sitting the console on the carpet which caused a static feedback.

Lucky...I kinda want a PS5, but right now I've got too much RL job stuffs going on, plus I'm trying to get back to doing my art/comics. Also, my Switch play is already distracting enough.

Yeah, my brother is shocked that he was seeing me play the Switch. I mean I plan on playing the PS5 (Spider-Man, Tekken, Street Fighter, all that), it's just... Sonic Origins is on the Switch.... and I happened to buy it there. Plus Nintendo has them exclusives.

Speaking of which, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is pure dopamine. Oh my GAWD.

Btw I never had a PS4 so I'm going to be playing catch-up. I've been playing on the PS3 for a while now.

Yeah I have a PS4 so prior to getting a Switch, I was playing Final Fantasy 7 Remake & World of Final Fantasy...
