Besides work, I'm planning to muster my own "poor-man's steamdeck" (small windows tablet + game controller) It will fill with 2D arcadey games & also chilled-out games, they're perfect when I have outings.

Currently owned games that fits the bill:
Horizon Chase Turbo
Streets of Rage 4

Currently searching for a 3D non-graphic intensive chilled out game.
Besides the one called Alba: A Wildlife Adventure which seems to be very nice open-island exploration game & very inviting but my tablet's Intel Graphics can't quite handle it. The later one A Short Hike may be more compatible.

been trying to get back into splat during my free time but the connection issues are so so bad and at this point i dunno if it's the game and it's servers or my isp throttling our network connection =_=

i will say tho i'm suuuuper super hyped for the next season comin up and the new weapon kits don't all look like trash for once (ready to be an absolute menace with the new splash-o-matic). I went nuts with the new king salmonid they announced so i know i'm gonna devour any new info we get about it as time goes on and it's got me all the more curious about the next big run.

Also hyped to see one of my fave maps making a comeback (Manta Maria my beloved) and we're finally finally getting that jukebox the dataminers found a while back so i'm totally ready to listen to more splatoon music a 'normal' amount. But like...very hyped for new sploon stuff :3

that's like i've managed to stay pretty consistent with sky dailies so i might actually be able to finish out every charaters tree before the season ends which is nice coz more cute cosmetics for me. if anything i think my only dilema has been strickin a balance between seasonal candle spending and specifically normal candle spending coz the last ts (which was a little prince spirit eeeeee) had a hair that i'd been wanting since when i first played a few years back and i just barely managed to snag it with the few candles i was hoarding but my gosh it was worth it. now that i've gotten it outta the way tho my sights are set on the cute cravat from days of love, the ultimate gift from the rememberance guide and maybe the flowering tree or the tea set from the other spirits. If anything i think the next spirit i wanna focus on is the pleading child coz i want his little cap and pants but it'll be a bit before the SC pile up enough for me to start buying stuff. if anything the only other stuff i've been wanting to get is the different colored capes from the main spirits in each realm coz i've got a fit that would look really cute with some of the blue capes, the pink cape and the black cape but i just do not have the hearts i need for it and idk who or where to go for heart trades (havent even really got candles for that if i'm being honest) so if anything i'm hoping for a decent build up of hearts to at least try and start chipping away at those

splatoon 3 and since big run finally ended so i can put that behind me (hated it) horrorboros was cool as hell but the matchups not so much and i know i'm probably getting participation trophy at best for the stupid thing given my egg output compared to the numbers i saw online. but yeah the horrors was the highlight of the event everything else was more than mildly rage inducing. on a plus i updated my theory post about it on tumblr but yeah the monstrosities are what keeps me going

also getting more consistent with sky dailies and candle runs (i was slacking) and since it's double light time i'm that much more motivated to really try n get into it. also doing everything in my power to get enough hearts for the plushies they just dropped for the last season quest for the pleading child. i want the crab AND the manta but idk if i can pull it off coz creb is like 19 hearts and the other one is i think 17 but i truly think it's evil of tgc to have even made it cost HEARTS when everyone knows how hard they are to get. at the least tho i'm confident in my ability to get enough seasonal candles to get the seasonal hearts i'll need to get the manta projector coz i need the manta projector so even if i can't get both plushies i at least want that

i'm also finally taking my behind back to play deltarune chapter one and two coz i've been sat on my hands about it for a while but if i'm gonna understand the references and memes and really get the characters i gotta play so i'm gonna play. i'm like just in the start of things when you just pass the great door and enter the field of hopes and dreams (or whatever it's called) so i've got a ways to go (actually hopping i can get that egg encounter in the game coz i know the chances of getting that are a little better than the gaster door in undertale so like fingers crossed)

edit: the lord is testing me coz i just went back into sky to finish out my dailies and i forgot they're doing another thing with the assembly spirits so we can get their stuff but i don't have any ascended candles щ(`Д´щ) i really don't wanna have to do a whole eden run but at the same time i really really don't wanna miss this chance to get a bunch of seasonal items like this especially when i've been doing a pretty god job with candle running so i know i can earn just enough to get all the things i want but like...goooood tgc why u do this to me i think at most i'd only need like six but the minutes thats done there's still the long arduous process of recollecting all my winged light....

I´m playing Mafia, it was a free download for ps plus or what´s it called.
It´s beautifully done, I like that you have to follow traffic rules and that
other cars, the cops and pedestrians react when you break the traffic
rules, drive on the wrong side etc. but the game is ridiously hard. I was stuck
forever in a simple fist fight and now I´m stuck in a gun fight and always die
after one minute and have to start again. The game is also completely on
the rails and you can´t do anything outside of the missions so far.

With other words, I´m close to the point at which I will not play it anymore.
I need something new. I´m playing prominence poker every day but I need
one other game beside that
