At 24 hours in I have finished the Star Wars phase of Final Fantasy 12 and am now starting on The Empire Strikes Back.

sounds cool but i doubt my pc can handle the surreal environment, cause it doesnt have a video card lol

first chapter dropped on steam late last month on the 28th and it's totally free (unless you're extra cool and wanna get the supporter version for $6) but it's a kind of surreal adventure exploration game

its a follow up to the animated series he's got on youtube but there's no need to watch it to understand the events within the game (but totally worth the watch if you just wanna get familiar with the setting and vibe of the game). definitely a game that speaks for itself so id recommend just jumping in and seein what you think of it

I never usually play games apart from like, Minecraft, but lately I've been interested in otome games —because of all the satires of them out there and because the visual-novel-like style with a bit of gameplay is nice for a non-gamer like me—, so I've been trying out Ikemen Sengoku on my phone. It's nice, but annoyingly phone-game-y, but I don't know how to escape the phone game vibes without investing in the hobby of gaming a bit more (since I don't have a PC or anything)~

i miss minecraft, i got burned out from playing too much back in 2019 lol

its cool buddy, whatever gaming experience your investing in as long as you're having fun, thats all that matters

My brother recommended Catan to me. I´m not into strategy games and I never playedthe board game but I dig this. It´s fun and simple. I´m very competitive when it comesto games but this game is still fun even when you are not winning

If any of you guys are ever in Berlin/Germany, visit the Computerspiele Museum.It´s a relatively small museum, but every gamer loves this. They have a retroroom and every console ever

I've been getting really tired of the screen lately, because everything that's not happening is on it. That's why I prefer board games in the company of friends, like Monopoly, Mafia, Uno, and so on. I recommend them to everyone, these seemingly forgotten games are still great for passing the time and killing time)

I do get that feeling sometimes. hell yeah! board games are still good. we only play them when the power is out though

I've been playing Dark Deity 2, Riddled Corpses, and Katana RamaDark Deity 2 has been an amazing FE-like. A bit of a slow start, but I've been getting really into it.Riddled Corpses is fun, but also incredibly grindy and only something I'd do to wind down.Katana Rama has some great music, but its too short and a little janky. It could be fun, but ends up feeling like a tech demo more than anything else. Apparently that might be because its a mobile game, IDK

Oh, how many of the others have you played? I've gotten through some of BG2 but stopped when I decided it would probably be smarter to start with BG1. And I haven't found the time for that yet.

But I feel that too. My computer can barely run BG3. The final act is rough, and I'm lucky if it goes above 15FPS in some areas, haha.

I like the level designs and gameplay but didn't really like the dialogue and character animations. It sort of felt like I was having a panic attack every time they started talking.

hmm lets see, been a long time but i remember playing 6 baldurs gate titles, dont remember em and havent finished even 1 lol

you said it budy, I mean BG needs a lot of patience, experimentation and exploration plus getting to know the characters and how the game works (if your not using a guide)

lol i usually just skip dialogue and cut scenes. if the gameplay is solid, im in!

i remember playing this at the mall when i was in high school, with the big screen and light gun thingy, twas loads of fun but i always buying more credits when i died. 20 years later, playing on PC, finally finished it because i have unlimited credits nyahahah

Some people really like the animation and dialogue of the game. I will say that the animators and voice actors are very talented.

However I just felt the overall experience was overstimulating.

Definitely Elden Ring ,I love everything about it so far ,the gameplay and especially the lore. Dark souls is a close second and Bioshock I don’t have that many hours in but it’s pretty fun so far.

Turning Rikku into a gyaru was the best move of the game. That she's also Yuna's enabler really solidifies the "young women on the town" vibe the game is going for.

So far Yuna mostly remains the same scoop of vanilla ice cream she was in FFX. But given her story in FFX, only having tiny acts of rebellion does make sense.
