This one is an interesting thread! Count me in~
As you passed by the bookstore, did the book cover captured your attention? Will you grab it from the bookshelf?
The Love We See in the Stars will definitely grab my attention. I love the color and silhouette. As a novel cover, I'd definitely check it out. It's simple and beautiful, easy on the eye and not distracting (yes, I am a sucker for minimalist novel cover). The font itself is nice, but I think the sub-title is a bit distracting.
As for Cute Boy Hunting, as a novel, I'm not going to check it out in a bookstore. If it were a comic, however, I'd reconsider lol. The art is great, the quality is excellent, the font is great. Overall, as a cover, it is outstanding and if we're talking about online platform, it's a very eye-catching cover. but as a personal preference, I don't have a good relationship with physical novels with comic/sort of manga-ish cover art. Not something I'd pick up on a bookstore.
Is the title interesting?
The Love We See in the Stars is the type of title I'd go for any day. Cheesy, romantic, one-sentence title that I unironically love. Yes, it's a bit mouthful to repeat the title, but I personally love it so much. Also, Cute Boy Hunting is a fun and playful title. Sounds like a bit of a rom-com, or just generally something lighthearted you'd love to read to kill some time.
Is the blurb/story description attention grabbing?
I'm bad at blurb, so I think both of them are decent. I haven't seen blurbs at the back of a novel nowadays, so any outline is appreciated lol.
Will you buy the comic/novel?
The Love We See? I'd definitely consider buying it. It gives off the vibes of a romantic and poetic love story, something I'd spend my money on. As for Cute Boy Hunting, no. It's not my cup of tea as a physical novel. I know a lot of people would love it, though.
Now, roast mine as you please!
The Chosen One
Blurb:
It was not the end. A bigger enemy is waiting for them...
The enemy they defeated is merely a pawn played by the mastermind. Not only that, several people are missing. To uncover the mysterious mastermind and to find the missing people, Elliot needs to become ally with the Children of Heaven and a woman who holds the key to the missing people.
