What improvement are you proudest of?

So I was working on the latest page of my comic and realized that I was actually really proud of how much better my lettering and bubbles have gotten compared to my earlier pages.
//Sadly, this will not be evident to readers until I actually POST these pages in a few months. Buffer, y'know?

That said, how has your work improved recently? What are you proud of? Feel free to boast a little!

That's cool. Whenever I read a manga or a webcomic, I kinda overlook the bubbles and lettering when I realized that it helps brings out the scene and atmosphere of the work. So, you're doing great my dude.

I managed to write a chapter faster than I usually would've be done with. Like four days, sometimes five depends on how hard I procrastinate. But I'm already in my fifth page going 6th (the usual last page for each chapter) and it's only the 3rd day.

Bubbling and lettering is something I've always wanted to work on, but the art has always been my main focus. I've gotten better with my coloring and shading techniques throughout the years. Although my comic's art style is not entirely reflective of my non-comic stuff, I am happy that I've slowly improved where the coloring and shading is concerned.

Coloring and shading has always been a weakness of mine, so serious kudos to you on working at that and getting so good at it hahaha

I'm somewhat proud of making my own Website and managing to Self publish a few books. Yeah the readers aren't there, but it's still good that I have the books themselves out.

Maybe you haven't got the readers you want yet, but you're taking steps to get them, and actually MAKING the stuff you want to, which goes a very long way.

aw, thanks. i'm blushing lol but yeah, after days of procrastinating the previous chapter until it hit the latest i could've updated my story (which was 6 days). I wanted to turn the tables once more, or the likes.

Probably my writing and storytelling in general. I try to make things clearer but more detailed at the same time. My current novel is a "rewritten" version of the previous one, and I'm glad a reader thought I have improved.

Not only that, I am glad that I have somewhat improved myself in art (although not that significant), and gave my series a better cover.

I'm still improving and I haven't exactly discovered which among the improvements that I'm the most proud of. But if I were to pick one, it would definitely be the gradual art style in each of my new webcomic strips.

Definitely speed. Before I was making pages at a rate of roughly a page a month. Nowadays I sped up to being able to make 4 pages in roughly 2-3 weeks. Meaning that I now can even have a buffer of pages, and release them more or less consistently!

"L-let me go." I trashed, trying to get out from his grip when he gently threw me on the bed. I tried getting up when a pair of hands grabbed my left wrist and embraced my chest from the right. My hands brushed against his skin and shocks trickled from it.

"Shush, Ash. Time for bed." Zach muttered as his warm breath blew behind my ears.

That's certainly nothing to sneeze at! I know as a reader I love looking at the newest page of a comic vs the oldest and seeing how much it's changed.

The fact that I can just draw hands now. It used to be such a stressful ordeal for any hand position ever. But now they're just another part of the panel no problem.

I can draw ears. For the longest time I either hide them or make all my OC's have animal ears, now I ain't hiding those ears any longer.

Oh and my lines aren't much of a thick choppy mess any more. And I only have to do 1 sketch instead of 3 before the line art.
