What is it like to lose all your progress, whether it would be writing a novel, drawing a comic or an essay

Mmm, I haven't spent too long making comics yet but once Krita saved a page I was really proud of as a CSV file??????? Which, if you don't know what that is like I don't, is just a string of numbers and random words in a spreadsheet??????? I nearly had a breakdown until I realized that a random lil unnamed file in the back of my art folder (even more confusing) was animation frames???????? But it had all the layers saved (albeit separately) and I ended up uploading them all to krita one by one and saving it as a krita file and then png.

Well, I just cry. My laptop suddenly had a corruption and I lost alot and I didn't want to continue.

I happened again but I had back ups on a flash drive so it wasn't to bad.

Either way, I wanted to lie down and wonder what fairy I pissed off today

Well, I just deleted all art off my harddrive on accident
inlcuding images I was still working on
Clip Studio can't find those files again because I didn't do a backup

It's pretty heart wretching

I sometimes do that for my drawings whenever it gets deleted or it doesn't get saved and the website loads on you I just redrew it but better

Happened to me before, but it wasn't for my work it was for the edit I made on my novel. I rewrote the edits for the whole story, but it could never reach the awesomeness of the first couple edits I ever made.

I just lost all my motivation to continue editing the story, but when I continued on it just didn't give out the same vibes. It's so weird, I wrote everything, but I couldn't remember half the things I wrote down hence why it didn't give out the same vibes.

For more context, the first edited version of my story used to be like a ballet dancer, but later became a dancer at a family event. All my edits over edits were gone and I just went off my original poor writing trying to salvage all I could before I forgot everything.

I thought all my mid 2000's worl work was gone for good. My mom brought me some old boxes and I found DVD-Rs with archives of my old art and stories! Losing that was so painful

When I had just finished the pencils of Heaven Hunters issue 2, I accidentally deleted the first 9 pages, which is almost half the book. It was a combination of an automated process I use to prep the pages for lettering, and sheer stupidity on my part. I was so angry at myself that I had to take a long walk to clear my head. The next day I started over. In the end, redrawing the pages just took time, and apart from a couple panels that I really loved from the original version, the new version looked much, much better!

It depends on how much work I lose, but if I lose a lot of a drawing, it can be bad enough to make me stop drawing for the rest of the day or even a couple of days. My CSP lately has been crashing while auto-saving, so I turned that feature off, so hopefully that won't happen anymore. I can't stand redrawing things all the time

I have lost so many works that now I just start laughing hysterically, especially since I don't like to write and it takes me a lot of time to write something. I write only for school and when I do it, I like to make it perfect so I am investing a lot of my energy and time. However, I am using editing services when I feel the need, for example, I have used the best application essays editing service to write my application essay persuasively and academically. Plus, they told me what aspects it is better to mention in order to impress the admission committee.
