What is the best time and day to post a comic on Tapas and Webtoons?

I've seen it somewhere that the best time of day is between 11pm and 1am in your timezone to hit the people in your country.

I played around with this on my Instagram, which has more followers than my comic, and the time and day that gave me higher number of likes was Thursday or Friday around 5-6 pm central European time, which means around noon for the US. Makes sense since it's the time people are on break or leaving work. That's the result of my little market analysis ^^ I don't have enough buffer pages to test this on my comic yet.

Posting on here and Webtoons, I don't know? I would look at your stats. Look at hourly and daily to see when people are reading your comic. But you should also share through other outlets on different days at different times. But as a general rule: Post between 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.* From a logical perspective, that when people start to get bored at work so it's the best time for a comic distraction. lol. As far as days, don't break convention. Wednesdays and Fridays are probably best.

*However, you should always check your own numbers because it may not necessarily be when YOUR readers are looking at your comic.

Another good and common strategy is to post early in the morning, but share on social media afternoon. You can use https://ifttt.com/ and Hootsuite to help manage this.

Also make sure your SEO is current and effective. And Due to the "pay to play" shift social media has taken, don't be afraid to put a little bit of money into advertising. Even a dollar a day will help your metrics and organic reach. Good luck.

I just can't make up my mind. I used to upload on fridays, but... I'm not really sure. When do you guys usually post? Do you even post at a set day, or just upload the thing once it is ready? Weekends are better than working days, or people is less active on the internet? Also, what about the hour? What do you think...?

There is never going to be a cut and dry clear answer. Developing a consistent upload schedule/ time is ultimately going to be more important then finding that magic day and posting hour.

There isn’t really a single “perfect” time since it depends a lot on your audience and where they’re located, but there are some patterns people have noticed. For Tapas and Webtoons, evenings and weekends usually do well because that’s when readers have more free time to binge. A lot of creators suggest posting around Friday–Sunday evenings to catch the weekend traffic.

That said, it’s always worth testing a few different days/times and checking your analytics to see when your readers are most active—every audience behaves a little differently.
