They mix their morals and their jokes which creates a lot of confusion. Family Guy has the same problem (although obviously it's aimed at an older audience). Also like Family Guy, the jokes tend to go on for way too long, like when they did a full parody of the Duck Tales Theme song after Robin said that Scruge McDuck is the richest guy he knows... which is weird because he knows Bruce Wayne.

Technically (well sorta technically, because it's fictional characters) people did the research on their net-worth because well... BECAUSE WHY NOT I GUESS, Scrooge McDuck is the richest and has the nighest net-worth of fictional characters. In concerns to Batman, Tony Stark actually has a higher net-worth than him (and Scrooge's is 5 to 6 times more than theirs)

(not sure how Robin knows Scrooge though buuuuuuuuuuuuuut probably best not to look to deeply into teen titans go jokes.)

I'm saying that I honestly think it was a callback to that specific 'research' on fictional character net-worth that was done. Not that they should have named Tony Stark ^^;;;

I doubt that the writers of GO! did any research since, in several interviews, they both said that they didn't take the show seriously at all, thought it was stupid and mostly meaningless, and outright said that most episodes were written in a matter of hours or max 3 days

Uh, that was a joke and a lot of fans took it that they were SERIOUS about it. I mean this from the people that gave the world Batman: The Brave and the Bold. How else you're going to explain all those background jokes.

I saw that joke...and it was cringeworthy.

Plus, nevermind the fact that the target audience of that show more than likely has no clue about what that joke was in reference to.

That's one of the dumb things I've seen with the show is the references to obscure stuff from the 80s and early 90s. On Family Guy that stuff works because the target audience is a wide age range, I'm not sure what would possess a writer to make jokes about "Ducktales" or even obscurer stuff like "Small Wonder" (if you were born after 1990 you'll have to google it lol) on a show geared towards little kids and preteens.

it's not really a bad show,it's just bad because of the teen titans,the original series had a story and more depth with the characters,teen titans Go on the other hand is just a random show about goofy things,and it just doesn't fit right,honestly it would probably be better if it had nothing to do with the teen titans.

Haha, well, Scrooge's whole thing is that he must be richer than anyone else. There's a reason his net worth is measured in cubic acres and not in dollars : D

(Did they really make that joke? I thought Disney owned Marvel, not DC. XD)
